- The Diocese of Fresno Family Life Ministry and KNXT TV are featuring a Randall Terry documentary film on the life story of Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of Roe vs. Wade. With Mr. Terry’s permission, we have added a reflection at the end of the film to reach out with care and concern to those who suffer the aftermath of abortion. National and local resources are referenced.
This film will air on KNXT 49/38 TONIGHT January 23 at 7:30pm; January 24 at 9:00pm; January 25 at 12:30pm and January 26 at 7:30pm.
It will then be linked to our Diocesan Family Life Webpage at www.dioceseoffresno.org We encourage you to invite others to watch this moving testimony of conversion of heart and God’s love.
Norma! As of June 2022, your case was overturned. We did it. Before I saw this video, I didn’t even know your real name, that’s how I know they wanted to bury the truth and be intentionally deceitful. I’ve been interested in becoming a Supreme Court justice and promise to uphold the constitution. Which means abortions should stay OUT of the federal government’s hands. Watching this really opened my eyes, and finally we overturned it. 5 years too late so you didn’t get to see it happen, but it did and I’m proud to say I no longer support the “right” to kill children

I heard Norma speak in California in the 90's. She was very real. I know she is my sister in Jesus and is in His glory in Heaven!!!!

I knew Norma since 2003. We labored together to end Roe and reach women with JESUS' LOVE and NEW LIFE. I am still carrying on her heart's desire to overturn Roe and bring LIFE to women.

Tonight a film will be shown that was done 3 years ago yet hasn't aired until it will tonight for possible political reasons. Jane gave birth to 3 children by 3 different men, had a lesbian relationship, spent time in mental hospitals, was used by liberally-minded lawyers to change the law in favor of abortion in our country yet never had an abortion. Then bearing guilt of sharing in the responsibility of millions of babies who have been aborted she had a conversion experience and became a member of the pro-life side. Now, 3 years after her death, she says she made it all up for money as an actor? That's awfully hard to believe, and to air it now during a political race revealing a shocking revelation that no one ever knew? It's known she was suffering from dementia, and her spiritual director for the last 22 years of her life who helped her join the Church and saw her the day she died and conducted her funeral has said this documentary is a hoax with Jane coerced to say what she did on camera - to shock our country and those who apparently knew her. I don't believe she lied about her feelings for over 20 years to scam money from prolife groups, but died knowing that lawyers 47 years ago used her got their own agenda, and only later did she find peace with God in seeing the value of all human life with the comfort of a wise and caring spiritual director, Fr. Frank Pavone.

I feel bad for all the times Norma was exploited, but I do want my mom and sisters to see the TRUTH about how this all came about, and the lies that were told. At least now, the SCOTUS has made things right on where the law sits, with each state, not the federal government as crooked as they are.
