About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies. - Zábava
Hope you all enjoyed this FIELD TRIP FRIDAY!! Tracy should be a great example on how anyone can step outside of the box and create INDUSTRY around a PASSION!! Go check out her website and have a GREAT WEEKEND!! longrowlavender.com

OFF GRID with DOUG & STACY Why don't you wear your tzitzits anymore? :(
@@MHayes7777 who says I'm not wearing them?
i clicked on that link and it didn't open
Unless you have them in your pocket cause they aren't hanging off your belt loops ;)
After watching, I went out and bought (rescued) a Lavender Plant on clearance!
I love, love, love, love, love this channel! I am 66 years old and Stacy and Doug take me back to the late 60's ad early 70's when so many of my generation were trying to live this lifestyle. Now that I have retired I have taken up gardening and cooking and this channel is an inspiration for me. Thank you!
🙏
Ditto, girlfriend. Flower children. Boomers, and late bloomers.
The dry lavender sticks can be used to calm your hens in the hen house as long as each hen gets some otherwise they fight over the nest.
THIS LADY IS LIVING MY DREAM....TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO.
Lavendar is my favorite herb, would love to visit this beautiful place, thank you Doug and Stacy for a awesome field trip, blessings

Good job letting others know about a small business you can stand behind. The knowledge Tracy and Stacy had is amazing to me. I do grow it to keep fleas, ticks to a minimum, and it does a great job.

Howdy! Loved the lavender farm tour! Wish there was smell-o-vision! Thanks for taking us along! Really enjoy the field trips..... Many years ago my step sister in Northern Calif. planted 25 acres of lavender on her vinyard/winery, and made a lot of $$ selling the fresh flowers to perfume company that would then make products. She's also an artist, and so she could paint all the beauty of the lavender fields and in every way enjoy them.
Must visit. Beautiful.
Extremely loved this video love lavender ❤️
Love all the things your offering especially teaching others about lavender
I love it! Lavender is one of my favorites! I had no idea it was a deer deterent!

You guys are so fortunate to be able to meet the people and tour the places you do. Especially lavender, it's both beautiful and versatile.
A lovely video. What an inspiration! Thank you for sharing!
Herbs de Provence is one of my favorite seasonings!!
Beautiful field day Friday! Thanks for sharing this family’s story💕
This is amazing! I am wanting to start a lavender farm! The amount of products she is able to make with lavender is amazing! I didn't think about a cafe aspect, it's genius!
Wonderful field trip, love knowing how to grow Lavender and tips to care for them. Thank you for sharing this lovely lavender business created by a stay at home mom. So cool to watch you share knowledge with each other and with all of us.
I accidentally happened on to this video. I kept thinking, it looked familiar. Once inside the building, I knew. I live 15 miles from this business! I absolutely love going there! The lavender ice coffee is delicious! Thanks for sharing this ❤️

Yes, I enjoyed it! Even without smellevision, the photography and music put me in the zone.
Doug and Stacy, thank you again for another great adventure in FIELD TRIP FRIDAY.
Thank you! I love visiting lavender farms. Lavender is one of my favs. Today a friend invited me over to harvest her lavender. The harvest was three large baskets, enough to make some wreaths, bunches, and more. Lavender season is just starting here in Oregon.
I enjoy watching your channel! So much great info each time! Thanks for inspiring content!
I loved this field trip, so informative. Wishing her continued success with her business. Blessings.
I visited a tea house a few years ago , We were served a lavender lemonade, lavender ice cream, lavender sugar cookie all so fragrant and delicious. Thanks for the video, I loved it!
Hope you really enjoyed the lavender farm, a week ago we visited Hope Hill Lavender Farm in Pottsville, Pa, lavender a little late, but plenty of sunflowers, and lots of things made out of lavender, wonderful trip and great time.
I get smarter every time I watch your channel! We bought 73 acres and plan to do many of the things you guys have made look easy and possible. You guys are such a blessing! Keep the videos coming!
💜💜I can almost smell the beautiful fragrance!
The place where you live is so beautiful God bless ❣️❣️❣️❣️😍
That explains a lot about the lavender 3 strikes you are out. O well. I can enjoy it in Mom's bouquets.
I recently had lavender lemonade for the first time and I'm addicted.... if they don't sell that I recommend making that... it actually makes my migraines less sharp. It's amazing
Another great fragrance is the Linden tree, which grows well in Missouri.
That's so awesome, I just started lavender this year. I hope mine turns out that beautiful 😍.
I’ve visited two lavender farms this month here in Texas, this would be my absolute dream to have this beautiful business and farm! Amazing. 🤍🤍🤍
Such an interesting video thank you. I live in Norfolk, England and we have a large Lavender business nearby called Norfolk Lavender. I grow personally about 3 varieties of English lavender and last spring I managed to raise 9 plants of Hidcote lavender. It was a lot easier than I thought . I might use them as a lavender hedge along a path.
A Lavender lined path would be heavenly ❣
what do you do with the lavender then? Do you have just for decorative purposes or do you sell it?
Good idea. I do that and it looks and smells amazing
I LOVED this Field Trip! She si so motivational and now I want to grow Edelweiss!! Lol!!
Me too!!!!
This is fantastic! She really built up a nice business. I find these kind of stories really inspiring and encouraging.

What a wonderful Field trip Friday! Stacy, you did an amazing job interviewing the owner 🤩
Wow, beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing
I used natural lavender soap in my homemade laundry soap
great show it was so much fun and let others ee you can do it if you want ,thanks so much
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing... we'll be checking them out for sure.
Wonderful story of inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
Love this trip. wish she would have talked a little about how to plant as far as what type of soil etc. I didn't see a link to go to to shop
glenda brekke - she did mention that they do well in clay soil. The slope and terraces are because mature lavender doesn’t like their “toes” wet, and a lavender plant is considered mature at three years. They love hot & dry, but the five varieties that they grow will do fine in a hot & humid environment. One of her varieties does not dry well, so she won’t sell that type in bundles but rather it’s used in pot pourri. Yet another variety is very fragrant so it’s great for sachets. There are over 400 lavender varieties and she grows five. Hope this is helpful. :)
Love this!
Love lavender! This video was so peaceful and calming! Can’t wait to order from this beautiful place! Blessings!
The best Friday yet!!!!!
3 weeks! So different. Our lavender dries in 3-4 days in western Colorado.
