Sarah is wonderful, and the guys she's playing with are breathtaking! They are incredibly interactive, in sync with one another, and totally together with Sarah. Great to listen to gifted pros.
Sarah McKenzie ia a spetacular pianist and singer I didn't yet know her and I ty very much for presenting her to me. It was 1 hour of pure emotion. Ty again.
we need more music less news we would be much happier. Thanks for the music america! We still have that right.
Sarah has one thing that I admire in pianists: the improviso. It has a high quality and a great knowledge of music, she uses to make mentions to ancient and modern jazz when she is performing one and I thing to myself what a wonderfull musician.
The best "Moon River" I have ever listened to! Wonderful live performance. I am infatuated.

Why keep comparing Sarah to ms Krall. Or to the barefooted Brazilian lady. It’s just that Sarah is the same as Sandy Shaw was (remember her you old codgers among us?) and who once dared to perform bare-footed. This fantastic talented (barefooted) Aussie chick is great! Diana Krall is more swinging, Sarah is softer, just a bit old stylish, I dare say. Both are wonderful and play with great musicians!

Sarah McKenzie has a better voice range, IMO... athough I love Diana Krall's husky voice and impeccable timing and understated emotion. Both of these ladies are great pianists.
but she ( Sarah) quavers off pitch, to my ear.
Her phrasing is very choppy and she not much of a pianist. Way overrated.

I like her feel and obviously she has a nice career ahead of her. But, I think she'll sound better as her voice matures. It's just a tad thin for me at this stage.
Really nice groove. She needs just to improve some details and she will be soon on top of Jazz singers/pianist/composer. Delightful artist.
