Sarah :- the first time I watched this concert , it was just brilliant---- and it just gets better, and better every time I watch it !!
Very fortunate to have been at this concert - what an engaging talent.
Very good concert, as usual with Sarah, one of the most nice musician of our times !
Back in the 40s (1946 & 1947), I was a student at Schillinger House the predecessor to the Berklee College Of Music. While black and white students/musicians mixed in school. But, in those days, there were two Unions in Boston. Blacks and Whites could not mix on a job. There were a few clubs where jazz musicians did mix, but the musicians were not paid.. Today, color is not the criterion of who can play with whom. It is the choice of the musicians, themselves. Best of luck to Sarah and the guys. They do good music.
Liebe Grüsse aus Hannover. Wenn ich in bedrückter Stimmung bin, höre ich dich Sarah und alles ist wieder gut. DANKE!

My words can not express how beauty of this session.
What a lovely young talent- her music is like a gentle breeze, a soft wind. I have just discovered Sarah on another channel where she gives a fantastic rendition of Bluesette, with a harmonica player who's out of this world. Jazz is in good hands, we can rest at peace.
Wowsers! I can't wait to listen to this again - with my headphones.
Sarah you seem the knack to be able to combine the, for me, true Jazz with a new fresh passionate approach/twist shining thru your playing and singing. Thank you, Dig/Cheers!
beautiful sarah. nth queensland
Thanks Berklee, Sarah and the guys. New to Sarah but doing such a great rendition of Old Fashioned sending me out into the cold New England weather to to do carpentry this morning with a smile. Will be enjoying the rest of this album/posdcast later.
Approaching 70 yrs old I'm so happy to see jazz being left in good hands. I'm a bit Old Fashioned myself....:-))
Hi Don, I'm 4 years older than you and I find Sarah's music fantastic.

4 years older than me!! OK grandpa. Thanks for the reply but don't slow down, I'm catching up to you...
Imagine you may be a fan of Nicki Parrot as well. Connie Evingsson maybe too? So many great female vocalist out there.
I also like a number on the Latin side too. We're so lucky.
Thanks again Roy. Happy Fourth if your American.
You echo my very thoughts Sir, and you do it very beautifully. I'm a woodworker too (and sometimes dabble with Jazz on the squeezebox. Beautiful things happening here, definitely. Listened to a rendition of Bluesette- had me in tears, fantastic Quartet; the harmonica player, young lady, is out of this world.
Greetings from Poland !

Sarah McKenzie ist am Klavier und an der Stimme fantastisch. Noch mehr singendes Girl aus Ipanema von Tom Jobim
The real deal.
Ottimo...

OH MY
very , very sensual and virtuous woman
Track list?
She should focus on either piano or singing…while trying to do both-both are suffering. Her voice is well suited to that non Jazz singer, that easy listening singer,Norah Jones.Or a Christmas album perhaps?
