It was a big issue for me, in bo3 : I had many "disconnected from black ops server" bugs and it was always counting as a loss ☹️!
What sucks about this is if the game crashes before you get back to the lobby. >_
If you quit during the potg do you still lose your progress

This guy gets in games where people can barely even hit him and i get games on PC where every person is prefiring and sitting in corners with one shot guns. I think it'd be easier to level up if they actually had proper skill based matchmaking instead of putting someone who's prestiged in with a bunch of level 10's and 20's and destroys them.

I was wondering what control was when I first looked at multiplayer yesterday and decided to give it a try. You're right - it levels you up quickly and is pretty fun!

On the game mode Control I typically get 50 kills and 30k XP so I would highly recommend that game mode. I got to level 20 after 90 minutes of playing.
I feel like that's slow if it took your 90 minutes to get to level 20, lol.
@@DeadlyPsyko that was day 1 when I didn't know how to play. I prestige and it took me 2 hours to get to level 33.
Its so easy to level up the lower levels compared to the higher levels. Level 55 i think is 60k xp, where as level 5 is only like 10k. (These xp numbers aren’t exact)
Deadlycat 123 its probably more like level 5 is 500xp and level 55 is 90k-100k
@@lep1ski yeah and they changed the amount of xp you get. Like 1 game I got 90 kills and only 2000xp. Yes only 2000xp.

The biggest thing in leveling up is medals. Find which medal is most easy to get and take advantage of it. In BO3 I used to get a ton of of xp because I played hardcore domination and would avg 40-50 one shot one kill medals. I managed to hit lvl 1000. Medals are key to xp.
Yup - I did a lot of grinding with the KRM shotgun, which got me at least 10 one-shot kill medals in every single game.
Same with using the SVG sniper rifle for the bigger maps.
Oooor just play the game normally and have fun.

Also mentioned challenges. There's a lot of them that don't involve getting kills. Basically right though. Get kills and play objective if you're in an obj game type. Pretty simple

Each person gets around 30 health. In most scenarios it's a 1 shot kill depending on the weapon.
No HUD, no health Regan, and team killing is allowed.
If you're not a fan of the fast ttk try hard core.
The perks you should use are:
The engineer perk - to see enemy explosives
Gun Ho and or lightweight.
And use dead silence and that perk that lets you see friendlies through walls, so you don't team kill them by accident.

HC is really fun, surprisingly stim shot works, crash’s tak 5 also works and everything it seems is a 1 shot kill. 1 down side I have ran into a lot of armor users. I do wish they would make it so that it lets you know when your specialist is ready like back in bo3. All in all really enjoying HC and the game.
So, I've playes both HC TDM and HC Free-For-All. In HC TDM you cannot use the stem to heal but in Free-For-All you can. It's honestly a really fun game mode version of HC.

Play hardcore Because you Get one shot medals all the time. I normally Get 20-30 one shot medals per ffa match and that is 2-3k xp

I am not going to lie I wish I could adjust ADS sensitivity separately honestly, on the SMGs it's TERRIBLE considering you want to aim left and right quickly in close range battles and I despise hip firing :S

THANK YOU! I accidentally hit fresh start trying to prestige. I went from prestige 10 to level 1, and I lost all my progress on the camos I unlocked (which includes the diamond camo I just unlocked for the snipers). So thank you so much for the help.

Just one tip that help me. I found it difficult getting used to black ops 4 and kept finding myself losing gun battles left and right. So I played free for all for a couple of Hours to force myself to start winning gun battles and it help a lot now I’m enjoying the game a lot more.

Kinda hoping to find out more about the bullet travel times. I understand that it generally doesn't matter in regular multiplayer because of the small maps but it's interesting to see how Treyarch implemented it and if they'll change the values as part of their buffs/ nerfs.
This is going to be coming soon. It's a bit tricky to test and show in a way that's accurate and makes sense, especially without custom games
That’s actually really impressive, how similar all the game modes are. I feel like they used to vary wildly in the past.
HC Dom and Hardpoint have really helped me level up quick, the ICR, GKS, MX9, Vapr are also really good and quick guns especially in HC dom

If you have an extra pick 10 slot and you don’t know what to use it on, go with a launcher, when you hear a UAV or CUAV or any enemy streak you can pull it out and progressively work on camos for the launcher and earn more xp
If you’re Solo Queueing play HC FFA. Use the ICR with Dead Silence and the thing that makes you hear steps louder. A win will give you 10k-11k xp per match

Set up one of the killstreaks to random care package to unlock other "Scorestreaks " and also use different perks.

For streaks, UAV, care package, counter UAV, care package give u all variety u need for all challenges, UAV's for what u mentioned. team help and getting kills. Also i like surprises...
I usually played heist right after prestiging until about level 20 and it would go by pretty quickly compared to other game modes and it's more balanced than having to use default classes. I would also usually be top on my team every game though so that probably helped a lot with leveling up
These are good tips but the best one is to grind it out and play any chance you get!

That’s probably why I haven’t leveled up as much as I hoped. I played basically only hardpoint until the late 20s, then I switched to control. In control, I usually get at least 10.000+ XP, even if I don’t win or do that great.
Control is like the perfect mode for this game. Definitely a great addition.
