I was fortunate enough to get to see Queen live 33 times between March 1974 and August 1986. They still remain the best live band I’ve ever seen. 🇬🇧👑🇬🇧 Their secret weapon in my opinion was having 3 great lead singers whose voice’s harmonised together perfectly.
I saw Queen here in Seattle at the Seattle Center Coliseum in late '79 and it was THE best, most articulate, perfectly timed, extravagant, bombastic, intricate and theater/Vaudeville-like event I've ever seen; before or since. They were using the Pizza Oven lighting rig which was amazingly operated by five or six crew men who were strapped into welded chairs/seats which were attached to ... Each man used his body's leverage/chains and ropes to raise and lower a huge rack of at least thirty or forty lights each. So as the show is beginning and"Procession" is playing thru the front line P.A., the lighting rig looks like one massive bank of lights about six feet above the stage, then they begin to slowly rise - each rack individually by the crew who's strapped into a seat welded about fifteen feet behind the rack of lights... Rather difficult to explain. After the show I was experiencing difficulty pulling myself away from the Coliseum and what I had just witnessed there. I watched Roger, John, and Freddie each run out of the backstage door and take off in their individual limousines. Then about ten minutes later Brian and his huge minder slowly walked out and approached about six of us standing there and he quietly spoke and signed bits of paper for us. I remember, I was fourteen then and he, Brian, was standing there next to me and my best friend, Mark Renstrum... That's my Queen experience. When they played Let Me Entertain You, Dead On Time, Mustapha, Brighton Rock... Jazz was my favorite LP at the time and it was just so fckng powerful. Then they would play '39 and bring tears to your eyes. Best four piece rock band ever - along with Zeppelin and the Who. That's only my humble opinion, of course.
Mark, I love hearing stories of people who saw & heard Queen live and mostly that they can attest to the extraordinary talented and MAGICAL FREDDIE MERCURY ... what a memory and testament to them all !

I discovered Queen when I was about 13 in the early 90s not long after he past away unfortunately . Anyway , I spent hours in my bedroom listening to queen and was very fond of freddie Mercury. I remember I even had a dream dancing with him . I Remember that dream in great detail to this day. Even got a kiss in my dream. Lol
I love To hear Phoebe...the way he shows our sweet Freddie the way he was 'behind the curtains, behind the pantomyme ' the real deep Freddie, sweet and sensitive soul, honnest, humble, with big sense of humour, generous...probably sometimes a lonely soul, searching for deep and true relationships...

Dear Queen Legacy Channel, I enjoy this video immensely, but I could harly hear your talking, as I am hearing impaired. As one of Quins craziest fan I'd like to ask to put on the automatic sound.
