    This looks SO COOL. I saw the paintover you did on Oliver's blender course and it was amazing, just found this tutorial and I am going crazy right now lol. 100% gonna get this tutorial and start studying hard those 2D skills. lets fking gooo :D!!!

    is it necessary to first do 2d environment and then jump to 3D?

      it's not necessary always but making sure foundation is right so that it's easy to tackle any technical side.
      Some clients like to see just pure exploration before diving into detail/3D. So, it's always good to sketch and improve your 2D skill.
      Sometime problem can be solved quickly in 2D stage, rather than jumping into 3 - 4 3D tools.
      So, it's always about problem solving first, choose which medium helps you to do that.
