This is usually how Monday’s go!! We started out wanting to work on the 389 after a quick service on the high lift then BAM it turns into A all day ordeal!!
The way the economy is looking? Id hang onto anything that is paid for that you could possibly make a buck off of.
Tim put jacks or blocks under the rear and pick the front of the machine up by tilting the bucket down and pushing it into the ground. Then you can roll the tracks freely off the ground.
Either truck I would feel blessed and honored to be given to me so my vote is either truck that you choose Is an awesome blessed giveaway.
I'll come paint it for the give away
ford is the pest piss on the reat plus peterbilt loved them so much they tool their logo painted it red and tossed their name on lol
Brother, those trucks are nice as they sit. Whoever gets one of them will be honored. God bless you and your family.
Id go with the F550 With big semi wheels a killer flatbed and some cool stacks
That f550 would be the better truck, but keep it mostly stock,no stacks or anything like that because some people may want to use the whole bed
FORD! Keep the bed. Old style cabover Pete cab lights. The rest is up to you, should you desire/choose to.
I am a survivor myself, stage 4 cancer twice. skin cancer is till going on.
I praise God for his healing. Got my chauffeur's license in '72...now called CDL. Never been without one since then. By Gods grace, I pass my DOT physical every year. So I AM a SURVIVOR!! Thanks for all you and your family does. Braxton is a blessing, enjoy his excitement. Love prayers and Thankx to everyone.
Your Dad is way cool. Been praying for your Uncle for complete healing.
By the way my shop burned down to the dirt. Nothing left, no ins. Insult to injury...fire hydrant was froze solid. Yeah, it wasn't a great day.
Prayers, coolaid.
Lifted Duramax with substantiation ,Forged Wheels, New bucket seats and carpet. Killer kicker sound system, Tint on all the windows. New white paint job and everything blacked out.If i was to win I would want a Big Ass Gentry and Son Trucking on the tail gate. Thanks for everything You all do on the channel. Please be safe out there. ✌🏻🇨🇱
The Chevy Duramax brother, U guys have ur work a head of y'all to do them up. Much love from Durham NC. ❤😊😊😊🎉
I'd have to go with the Ford, with a flatbed and Ranch Hand style front bumper. Thanks for what you're family, your business and all the drivers that keep the country moving.....God Bless you all!
i get it, you like sitting in one place, relaxing life
Tim I love the look of the Dually but that lbz longbed is drawing me in. And just a side note, I gotta say I’m so, in awe, for lack of better words that your still thinking of the fans even after what you just went through. You got a big heart man. I hope Braxton and the kids realize how blessed they are to have such a amazing old man to be looking after them, or teaching them how to look after themselves. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you deserve every amazing thing life gives you and the family. Keep the rubber down and the coal’a rolling brother!!!!
You guys are awesome. Even with all your loss you still look out for your fans. God bless the Gentry Family. I’d go with the ford.
Both trucks are sweet you have a good heart and I can tell God is over your family nothing can break you when the Lord is with you 🛻🍻😎
"Gentry And Sons Construction"
Has a nice ring to it, don't y'all agree?
Duramax, six inch lift, nice flairs, clean smooth body lines. Just a clean simple build
Soon you'll go from surviving to thriving yall keep up the hard work. I would probably prefer the old 7.3 f550 if I won. The crew cab dually configuration with a flat bed would be one mean machine
Another Great Video Tim. I would vote for the Ford Dually. Also on the Caterpillar. You need to separate the track and rebuild the grease tension cylinder. Remove the roller frame cover and you will see the grease everywhere.
I Would Love to see that Chevy all cleaned up and given away. So glad you are doing well even though you lost so much. Your attitude and great spirit are an inspiration to all that have suffered a tragedy and need someone to look up to for an example of how to persevere.
Love the ford. The old 7.3 with bigger turbo , exhaust , flat bed and new led lights. With a good old fashion push bumper. That's the recipe for an old Tuff truck. Have a great and blessed day.
You are awesome,Tim !! Always thinking of others. God Bless 🙏❤️
❤god bless you tim and your whole family. You definitely have a heart of gold and I love you videos. Watch them everyday
Ford. 26 inch wheels. Big brakes, new bumpers, matching steering wheel, painted one color. Fenders too. Tinted windows. Lowered 2 inches. Big turbo.
Ford Dually for sure.... Sounds so strong. Front end all new headlights, bumper with led lights, guards and hide away steps, visor, rear bumper with led spot lights, maybe a wrap or some paint.
I would definitely have to say. The duramax is my dream truck and it looks amazing as is. But I know whatever you do to it would look even better I would like to see it with a nice steel heavy duty front bumper maybe a nice. Set of wheels and wherever you decide to go with it from there. I know it will be done completely right? but ultimately The Choice is. Yours Tim. I also would have to say if I was lucky enough to win it. I would turn around and give it to my Uncle who just retired from the military in 2020 and happens to be looking for a truck at the moment. To be able to take his nieces and nephews and the rest of the family out camping and boating.
I’m gonna have to go with the LBZ Tim. The most reliable duramax you can get. My favorite. Nice wheels , headlights and grill would look good.
I am hurting so bad I would be Thankful to have it the way it sits. I would like the Ford...
PS it would be nice if it had a HURD Bumper to Protect the front of the Truck. And some very powerful bright lighting... Thank and God Bless and I am Thankful that the Lord has got your Feet every step of the way 🙏 AMAN
F550 custom flatbed on semi wheels, a new front bumper and cab lights. Clean and simple workhorse.
Maintenance is never ending but you have to do it, to keep your wheels turning, keep up the great Tim.
Hi from the UK. You are such good people all the hardship you have gone through with the workshop fire, yet still you think about the subscribers and making them happy with a give away. Top job Gentry family. I do think which ever truck is picked it will be a great truck when you've finished it. Personally I think the ford with a nice paint job or wrap would be great with the name Born to Survive written on the back. Keep up the good work and keep pushing through you will achieve all you want with that great family comradery that you've got.
Ford all the way. Nice alcoa's new herd bumper, all led's, flat bed and tool box.
CHEVY!!! ❤ My hubby needs a truck badly and has been through so many health issues including a quadruple bypass which totaled 26 surgeries now. He deserves a truck and has always wanted one. 🤞 Chevy is his favorite 😊
Love seeing the cylinder job unfold.
Tim its amazing how you'll will attempt to fix what's broken you self. Things that I would never attempt. Awesome good video. Keep that kind of content.
Junk
The Ford with the bullet proof 7.3 is the way to go i have had several of them and you cant beat them Put a flatbed on it and it would be perfect with a transfer tank
CHEVY ALL THE WAY!
I would not be ashamed to drive to either one as they are. In my mind the trucks already have all the love and care from everyone involved. You guys have already give them character! Wheels and tires on the chevy and call it done.
Definitely would go for the Duramax with whatever upgrades you do!
Actually with Banks throttle tuner!
I really like that chev. Single rear wheel here would be more ideal for crossing our bridges toll wise lol. Cheers and thanks for the content
Tim, your content is truly family friendly and also educational and informative. Either truck as they sit would be a blessing for someone. Thank you for your time, wishing all of those that are involved with you all the best. Much Love and respect. GOD Bless
Tim, you guys are an inspiration to so many people.
I cant imagine either truck being given away and taken by someone else and worked hard and abused.
I would choose the 550 and would love to see it used by towing equipment for disaster relief efforts for communities hit by natural disasters.
It would be retired and used for humanitarian relief efforts.
The only must have I would like to see for the truck would be a sticker somewhere on the truck saying it was donated by Gentry and Sons and I would want auto graphs of you, your dad, Brax, your wife and the rest of the team signed under the hood of the truck or on the dash.
Keep fighting the good fight brother, dont give up and keep running the race.
God Bless you and your family and God Bless everyone at Gentry and Sons.
That Ford is my vote! You are awesome, my friends. The 7.3 liter engine is the best in my opinion. Just coming with that pickup bed on it would be fantastic! I would eventually put a flat bed with a built in 5th wheel tool bed on it and add a Autocrane to it. It would be used quite well here and even give the chance to hire some people. Thank you for the fantastic videos. I would do custom paint with your youtube channel listed! Pearl white or metallic silver flake are my favorite colors! Hope the 963 repairs go well.
Gotta go with the lbz the Chevy love that year its so awesome you are doing this after such a disaster that's so cool keep grinding
Duramax for sure. Maybe a little larger tire nothing crazy and a refresh to make it look new.
Hats off to you and your family for all y'all have gone through. God bless you all your whole family and thank you for thinking of your fans. Both trucks are nice to be giving away, how awesome 👍
Not even a choice I'm going with the duramax. I'd take it the way it is open for someone to what ever they choose maybe let the winner decide what direction . . Never seen a giveaway done like that. I think people would like to be able to be involved. Hope all is well with and the family
Chevy is only way to go!! ❤️ New wheels would look awesome!
The 7.3 without a doubt. Custom rims, bumpers, front and rear led cubes, window tint, and I'll take it!!!!
Awesome idea! I like the 7.3 dually. I think set it up as a nice tow rig. Some nice gauges to monitor trans motor etc. I nice hitch setup for 5th wheel or goose neck. And just get it detailed up nice!
My prayers are coming to pass! I’m praying for your family and your business! I’m a Vietnam vet not in the best of health. I live in West Virginia I could use a truck but I’m sure someone probably needs one more than me though. I think a lot of you and your family. My wife and I would like to see your family more!
Thank you for your service sir!!!🫡🫡
Yes, thank you for your service and welcome home!
Thank you for your service.
Chevy all the way glad you guys are still doing awesome and thriving
I vote for the F550. I prefer the bed that's on it for the versatility. A combination 5th wheel/goose ball (I forget who makes it) and I could deliver any RV out there. That's my dream at the stage of my life. Maybe even do some hot shot for y'all. Peace be with you, brother. Oh hey, I didn't realize Westen was so close to me, about 100 miles. Small world. Beye!
Well I have to say Chevy cause we are Chevy/GMC people up here. My hubby just took his 2000 2500HD off the road to drive but it still lives and runs here on the farm. Thank you and the family for blessing someone in the future.
Heck yea, I would say the 550 with a nice back bumper, you all stay safe and be careful!
I would to see the ford reformed with all the extras Tim, you a lovely true genuine nice guy. Keep those wheels turning Tim. I send all my regards to you & your lovely family xx
Someone will be very happy with both. I would love to see the Ford done. Love watching your videos. Thank you
Ford 550 with the big truck wheels and steel bumper on front and back. Blessings to you and your family.
100% Ford you guys rock and with all the blessings you have shared with so many folks, its awesome to see you have them returned to you and your family. Braxton is like huh I want a new truck too :P
The 7.3 with a flat bed, 05-07 front clip and headlights, and Alcoa wheels would be awesome in my opinion
FORD!!! SORRY for being late... Needs Chrome Bumpers and Chrome front Grill Tinted windows that's about it it's perfect the way it is it's a awesome FORD...
I’m a ford guy, through and through. I’ve got a 2006 F550 with a Utility body werks bed on it. I can’t tell you how many people have tried to buy it from me. My vote would be to go all out western hauler on it. It would make someone an awesome rig to pull horse trailers, fifth wheels, or anything else they want to put behind it. The Ford has my vote ✅
Hello Tim. I love what you and your family do for the trucking community. I’m a 15 year driver. I love that Chevy but if I had that Ford with a flatbed, then I know what I can do. I would love to have that Ford. Do the Ford with a flatbed
F550. Definitely. New front bumper, brushguard, winch, toolbox, gooseneck hitch and of course Cobra CB
Chevy brother God bless you and family all of you are awesome people you thought me how to stay positive and look forward thank you
I'm a big Chevy guy. But man it doesn't really matter which truck you decide to give away. Who ever wins the truck will be a lucky person. Most people will be happy to get a good running dependable truck. Do what your heart and what God tells you to do.
Tim, that red Ford needs a 5th wheel plate for when a boat is not in tow, for the camper or toy hauler flatbed. A winch on the front work bumper and a grille guard would round out a work truck nicely.
Duramax for sure. I'd put cab lights, brush guard, spray in bed liner, and mud tires on it. I absolutely love the cat eye silverados.
Both of those trucks are great as they are. Whoever wins one of them I’m sure would love them even without any modifications. I’m a Chevy fan, so the lbz is just something I love. It’s amazing you guys are still thinking of fans while you are still rebuilding. You guys are awesome.
I vote for the F-550. Id love to see it with underbody lights painted up really nice in a red color with a cb radio installed. Just a few minor changes to keep looking good for working hard.
Good video Tim, enjoyed watching you and the boys working on the skid steer.
Tim I like ur ideas in ur videos do what u see in ur head it'll will look good can't wait
Hey Tim and the Gentry family. I have no use for either truck, but they both need custom flatbeds, led lights, and definitely stacks! Keep up the great work.
Fix up the ford, Sh tube grill, big bumper, visor, lots of lights, bull hauler stacks, western hauler bed, 5th wheel, pintal hitch, cool wheels, and air ride.
should put the boy in there and teach him early he would love it
Interesting video. I've run construction equipment but never worked on one beyond pulling a hydraulic cylinder on an excavator and routine service.
I would be blessed to win any of the two trucks as they sit. I was a hard core chevy guy until I bought a Ford 350 and still own it with it pushing 300 thousand miles. That changed my mind to liking Fords.
Hey man watch you guys ever time you unload started watching you a couple months ago and I would be happy with either truck
I'm Always amazed on how Hard you and your guys work. Your kinda work isn't for everyone but I definitely enjoy these videos. Also I think I would pick the CHEVY. I think a good freshen up and she would look good.
Got to love the 7.3. With dual Stacks. White door handles. I'll do the rest😇
Love the Ford. Chrome cab lights, flat bed, pintle hitch, ball hitch, stacks, winch, two fuel tanks, good sound system, gps, extra interior outlets for usb charging, good trucker cb radio, 5th wheel, visor, side mirrors with turn signals, air horn, boxes below the bed. Painted any color but pink. Hope the rest of the country does not join CA in making us buy a new diesel engine after so many miles or certain age.⛽
Tim you have God looking down on you every day I would take either truck you keep on doing what you do
Ford with a flatbed!! Thank you for all the videos, I sure enjoy your channel.
The duramax! Make the engine sound , dependable no major mods. Air bags rear. Keys in front with tibrems in place of bump stops. Keep it clean , w/easy to repair A/M parts.
Ford dually has my vote! Put Alcoa’s on it! Chrome grill and bumpers then put Seminole two tone down either side!
Love watching you guys do your work.even though you are having problems of your own you are still thinking about your fans. I have thank for the great content.
But I have to go with the Ford with a nice flat bed some big wheels.
Thanks for what you are doing and God bless you and your entire crew
God bless you and your family. Love every video and can’t wait for the next one. I’d want the 550 with semi wheels and tires and stacks to. A flat bed would look good to but the way it sits would be just fine with me and probably most of the ones that watch your channel. I would just love to have one of your trucks. Just knowing it was yours would be enough. God bless you and your family and good luck with your new shop and company.
God Bless you chey all day with Gentry on the side
glad you guys are still going strong even after the fire, as for the giveaway id say the chevrolet as id drive it daily my father had a chevy diesel truck before he passed and we all loved that truck
I’m glad you ok and your family, god bless
Ford truck look nice
Definitely the F550 with a flatbed with some nice rims an tires an a recovery bumper on front an a billet grill would be awesome.
Duramax. Blackout rims and brush guard. Would love either one and god bless you and your family and everything you are doing to help people out.
Tim, I like both trucks I would let you pick which one you would like to give away.. let you do whatever you like to get it ready. I have all the faith in you to make it look nice.
Great video showing the repair on the cat ! always wondered about those tracks, being a mechanic it kept me glued to the screen ! don't forget to show the assembly and maybe you should remove one cleat so the piston don't have to travel to it's max !
I'm personally a chevrolet man. But that ford with a stake bed would be better suited for my my needs. I'm not materialistic .
That truck with a stake bed would be great for pulling my Branson 3510I with.
Whoever wins one will be so lucky .
Good luck to everyone.
Going with the FORD ! Alcoa Aluminum wheels 10:00/20 ranch hand front bumper with 12k wench ! 10% tent on the glasses !
Ford w/west coast mirrors , alcoa rims, stacks, and nice flat bed!
lm a chevy guy but I vote for the f550 not having a rig right now I could do so much if I had that f550. Good luck everyone and thank you Tim and family yall are amazing
Y’all are truly amazing people. Chevy
My pic of the trucks would be the Chevy, with a deer guard on the front, and All weather floor mats. And lighted running boards.
You guys are awesome!! Love your channel!! I love the dura max, it looks good.
I’d like to see the ford with a western hauler bed, updated lights, grille and king ranch interior. That would be my pick.
The f550 with a nice ranch hand winch bumper and a nice toolbox/ transfer tank and nice headlights and taillights
I would say the Chevy..love watching your channel. I drove for many years and about to go back to it..
The Ford F-550 is my vote it would nice to see a new front-end conversion love to have it
Not that I’d ever win but if it were mine I would choose the ford and lift it up like 2-3 inches, paint match the handles, 08 style tow mirrors with white caps, remove the fender flares, put a flat bed on it, white recon cab lights and mirror lights, and some black 20x12 wheels with 33s, rock lights, 5% tint on sides and back glass and 30% on the windshield, probably a nice Iron Cross Bumper up front and an aftermarket grille and headlights! That’s would be a sick rig, but like I said in the beginning I know I would never win the truck but I love watchin your content man! Keep it up!
