Coming from someone who's been there and still is there, since you only control this thing, you never beat it. Your description of depression and then suddenly finding a new way, and being super excited about it, really feels like a possible bipolar situation. It's dangerous because when you're in the manic mode, it all falls into place, or at least it seems to until you take your next dive down. I could certainly be wrong, and this may well work out for the best, but if you do swing down again and go through an up and down cycle (or have in the past), think about going to talk to someone before you get yourself into trouble.

I mean you know how it feels to lose and so do I so even when you win it still creates pain and suffering to others so I am deciding to quit altogether it’s a fun game but I don’t believe the Father approves. Also I watch Cory too I am happy for him and the views he got on last video but he is also down almost 20k I dunno how he is so up beat honestly

You are very wise and mature for 23. I'm 50 and know a lot of people, my age, who aren't nearly mature as you. Quite literally keep the faith. God will get you through the tough times. I would encourage you to not just read the Bible but study it. Learn the background of what was happening in the region back then etc.
Right before you said you found god again I was thinking this kid needs spirituality. Then you said you found god again. It’sthe missing ingredient to being human, those without it are lost. Just like we need food in our bellys and roof over our head our spiritual being needs nourishment. I’m not a Christian, there are many different ways people can find god or spirituality. Consider yourself lucky to have found it. It’s a gift. I consider my spirituality like any relationship it takes effort on my part..give and receive. it’s a 2way street I get what I put in and I can’t alway just be a taker. Every morning I say a simple prayer “your will not mine” That’s my effort and I start my day that way to get connected in the morning and all through out the day I ask how can I “be of service to those around me “ Prayer is key for me, not ones I read in a book but ones that are personal to me in my own words. i am an older man playing poker part time for 30 years, i mainly play tournaments and sometimes low cash games. I do well at tournaments, so i retired to las vegas now. I will do senior tournaments and of course many events at the WSOP, i cannot grind anymore each week. I pick a few tournaments a week to play, and enjoy life. I have a nice bankroll, and in tourneys u only need to finish in top 10 to 15 percent to double your money. I cash a lot, still waiting for my big payoff,,,,,hahaha,,,,
bro i think it's easy to lose perspective...just being in the position that we are all in, having extra money to just gamble with, puts us in like the top 1% of people worldwide...so many with nothing extra and not even enough to get by on....when i catch myself feeling down or malaise ....i force myself to start naming everything I am grateful for

I did it for 9 years and sleeping bad eating been there done that went back to work back to reality that’s what you need to do now I do it recreational
My life has been on a downward spiral since 2018. Lost uninsured house under construction from a hurricane. My found out I couldn’t have kids. Fiancée left me. Started dating a single mom, fell in love with the kids, got cheated on. Lost my dream job from the depression and lowered job performance. Found out not being able to have kids was due to a hormone secreting brain tumor. The medications from that and the already depressed as fuck had me wanting to put a gun in my mouth every morning and every night for a long time. No light at the end of my tunnel yet, but I play poker to escape the reality of life . Keep grinding my friend, I look forward to continuing enjoying the vlogs
Dude fuck I am sorry to hear all of that. That’s literally in my bio “playing poker to escape life”. It’s so true, and I know it’s really tough to keep pushing, but find joy in the small things in life. Do things that you enjoy doing and do them more. You’ll slowly start to love life again.
Ace I like this video! I’m 35 now and at your age I was grinding a lot. It’s a tough game it’s tough way to make a living. I’m close to Jesus Christ our lord and savior and I don’t f*** with poker anymore. Well I do still load up the online tables but I don’t have the same tenacious attitude towards poker. I’m with “Robb one day at a time” a CZcamsr who is dead set on changing problem gamblers like me. You’ll learn by my age poker isn’t everything man. When i got it rough i always think about how jesus suffered for us and how much pain he endured just to take our sins ,and that everytime i dont want to do something or i am feeling down i need to stop whining and just go do it God has our back always. Question for you how do you think god looks at us playing cards in my oppinion you can play without sin but when you are tilting or playing badly i know its a sin to play but when i play with my brain and know why i do every step on every street then i am just playing to earn money and have a good time . poker isn't straight up "gambling" it's an advantage game where you control your own fate. People also say that to me, how god shouldn't be involved in gambling. I don't involve him in my gambling. I don't "pray to god to win" or "pray to god to get good cards" etc. God shapes me into the man I am today, and continue to work towards becoming. He blesses me with an amazing mind, the courage to go after my goals, the determination and discipline to be consistent. He keeps me grateful, and has me bless others always. He just is always with me, no matter what through it all. Don't be worried about what anyone will think, do what you want to do. God bless and I agree with what you said about what Jesus endured. He strengthens us always. Lean on that strength.

i am an older man playing poker part time for 30 years, i mainly play tournaments and sometimes low cash games. I do well at tournaments, so i retired to las vegas now. I will do senior tournaments and of course many events at the WSOP, i cannot grind anymore each week. I pick a few tournaments a week to play, and enjoy life. I have a nice bankroll, and in tourneys u only need to finish in top 10 to 15 percent to double your money. I cash a lot, still waiting for my big payoff,,,,,hahaha,,,,

My life has been on a downward spiral since 2018. Lost uninsured house under construction from a hurricane. My found out I couldn’t have kids. Fiancée left me. Started dating a single mom, fell in love with the kids, got cheated on. Lost my dream job from the depression and lowered job performance. Found out not being able to have kids was due to a hormone secreting brain tumor. The medications from that and the already depressed as fuck had me wanting to put a gun in my mouth every morning and every night for a long time. No light at the end of my tunnel yet, but I play poker to escape the reality of life . Keep grinding my friend, I look forward to continuing enjoying the vlogs

"gambling" it's an advantage game where you control your own fate. People also say that to me, how god shouldn't be involved in gambling. I don't involve him in my gambling. I don't "pray to god to win" or
"pray to god to get good cards" etc. God shapes me into the man I am today, and continue to work towards becoming. He blesses me with an amazing mind, the courage to go after my goals, the determination and discipline to be consistent. He keeps me grateful, and has me bless others always. He just is always with me, no matter what through it all. Don't be worried about what anyone will think, do what you want to do. God bless and I agree with what you said about what Jesus endured. He strengthens us always. Lean on that strength.

Dude, I'm a poker player and a Christian. Here's our problem. If God blesses you with money or me with money does HE GOD want us gambling it away.
