Rough one fellas… life goes on though 🫡
Do me a favor and like, comment, and share the video to help ease the pain 🙏🏽
I’ve been running like this session for the past six months lol
Yes these were coolers, but def spots where you should be folding on turn. You don’t really describe the types of players you’re going up against so it’s sorta hard to get a read. But even you say yourself, “who triple barrel bluffs w nothing? They always have it.” Dos perros = in Spanish is two dogs vs set(TT)? But yeah having TPTK, or big over pair as pre flop aggressor, got them betting into you showing strength looking like a river shove is always bad news. They hit their set, top two, or pair w combo draws, flop straight all of which > equity.
A few years ago you had a rough losing session and contemplated quitting. I am not hearing that. You have come along well since then, you have the knowledge of what you did wrong, and the confidence that you will correct it, and get it back. You will be fine!
Aye where's the new video. Sittin here waiting 🎉
I know this sounds weird, but I enjoy when vloggers post losing sessions. Not that I enjoy seeing people lose money (except for wolfgang and rampage), I just think this gives the viewer a better perspective that being a poker player isn't all sunshines, rainbows, flopping the nuts, and doubling up every session. Thank you for keeping it real.
Appreciate your attitude and transparency. We’ve all lost 4x+ buy-ins, sometimes lucky enough to come all the way back and more in the same session. It happens. Some things to consider though… You don’t always have to play for stacks with just a pair. Secondly, consider your table image after so many rebuys. If somebody lost 4 buy-ins at your table with less than sets, would you give them more or less credit? Or would you exploit their aggression or inability to fold? Looks like multiple callers on your 3-bets might be an indication of the latter. Again, appreciate your attitude and good luck going forward.
It's literally nothing what are we talking about like it's 1999 and we don't know what variance is?
No shithead we are talking about real life where players win like this stfu liar@@WillD-jj9kg
I did hit the like button for the algorithm. That was one of the most brutal poker vlogs I have ever seen. Onwards and upwards. Good luck as always.
Thanks Buddy. That’s poker, happens
I really felt this one man, this is so sad. I've been running well online for a while and I decided to go to 1-3 live games last weekend, I played super well but I got rinsed by the river 4 separate times on huge pots. Lost 3 buy ins. Have to remember that math will always even out in the end and just keep playing our best.
Your right. Just a bump in the road. Thank you for always keeping it real because it isn’t always rainbows playing poker. It can be tough but you can keep going and learning. Best vlog to date
being a poker pro is really tough. you have to stay positive and know it was just a bad day at the office tomorrow will be a better day. good luck to you brother. STAY STRONG!!!!!!!!
Not just about staying positive its also about having discipline. Cuz when that gambling addiction takes over its hard to stop n u just keep playing getting bad beat over n over.
This guy is not a "poker pro". Based on what I just watched, literally a zero percent chance that he earns a living wage from playing poker.
yeah that was a rough session smh, glad u are able to reflect and learn from your mistakes and hopefully u will run it back up!!!
Appreciate the honesty in this kind of video. It better reflects the reality of poker swings than constantly seeing BIGGEST WIN EVER for every video. Cheers Ace
Appreciate you, Ace. TY for sharing the lows and the highs. Really sucks when you lose to someone playing 64h - it feels so wrong. In those moments I try to remember that some of my wins were against these dopes - they were just too embarrassed to show the garbage they were playing. Definitely get into as many future games as you can with that dude!!
This popped up in my feed. I so appreciate the honesty. This game can be so awesome and so cruel. I subscribed and wish you nothing but the best of luck!
Happens man just had it happen to me for 1500 but I left with 4k in my pocket bc I have figured out some days are just like that and you will just lose more money once you have that sick feeling of losing a substantial amount. The most important part of playing in my opinion is knowing how to both win and lose you have to just get up sometimes.
For sure bro thanks for the comment
Agree. When u lose u wanna just play more but u gotta learn to stop. It just isnt ur day no matter how good ur playing. Theres always tomorrow.
I feel your pain, brother.I haven't seen from any poker vloggers run so bad until I watched your vlog, you are pretty good player, the cards just didn't come your way, when it does, your opponents had a better flop, all poker players have been there,I am not a high limit player, I play 1/2,1/3 , but I will eventually move up 1/5 in the future, I love poker so much, I will stay these level for now and I am a pretty good at the small buy in tournament player, hang in there bro, the cards will come your way, be a little bit patient and you will get most of your money back and some, I will continue to support you my brother, your brother Maximus (Max!).
sucks to run bad and be "capped" with one pair in huge pots, but when they're repping monsters for large amounts of cash you just gotta find some tough folds. everyone goes these rough patches, just gotta get through it and learn from it. keep grinding bro
Hey man, I enjoy your stuff bud. Had a session very similar to this one not long ago. Next session I swung that back up plus some. Hope that happens to you man.
It’s so damn hard to let go of aces. We have all been in that spot, where you know u aren’t good, but it’s too painful to fold at the same time.
Live and ya learn 🤷🏻♂️
@@AcePoker444that’s true. Just saying that I think any honest poker player would say they know exactly how u felt and what you were thinking when u called. ..always love the videos either way.
This guy should at least be nominated for poker vlogger of the year this year! Not sure how to get the word out, but if anyone does, then please do so.
@@nickcothran3307 thank you bro🙏🏽 I believe you can tweet at or dm the global poker awards or index idk how it’s spelled lol
This happens VERY often at the poker table, they were going after you. THANK YOU FOR SHOWING it, most vloggers just don't upload these.
came across your vlog, know exactly how you feel after you just go past the 3rd bullet. keep your head up
The $25 straddle makes stacks so shallow so it’s easy to get torched like this because the money gets in so easily
Yep exactly what I was thinking. If this is a 2k cap this is a horrible game, if not he should have bought in way more
Thx for being real, man. I had a similar night in Elgin last Friday, just to a smaller scale. Folded my AA on the turn, etc. Still lost $1,400. Poker is brutal sometimes.
Turn it around next time - can't wait to see the rebound!🍀
Thanks for sharing bro. Love your realness
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
well you got a subscriber outta me, lol..
honestly i thought i was the only person who had nights like this.
gets better once you get some distance from it. we appreciate you, brotha.
Appreciate the raw honesty of it all. Been there before. Take a break and come back with a clear mind. Hope you crush it!
Tough session man! One thing I've generally gotten better at, albeit fair from perfect, is at recognizing when it's not my day and the cards just aren't falling my way. Despite the fact that this is a skill game, there's still an element of luck we can't always overcome. You'll get it back in no time!
It’s funny because handling the “bad luck” is another huge skill in itself. Just one more way we can squeeze EV out of the players we play against. The more they tilt and the less we do the better
It's a luck game with skill involved
80 percent luck 20 percent skill. This is the best example.
@@themannodoubt8657 and this is why losing players will continue to lose. Winning players understand that luck is only involved short term, and this game is really just a skill game over the long run
@@wompwomp7177 BS dude its highly luck .
Ouch brother, we all been there. It will turn around. God is good !
I feel you man i lost it all to so bad hope u will be fine good luck man
Wow…. Massive respect win or lose for how you handled that. I couldn’t imagine me handling that the same way and I gotta give you credit for that. Really enjoy watching your videos, I’m also from NY and would love to try and play sometime with you!
Thanks man! Always have to keep a positive attitude! I’d love to have ya come play! Shoot me a message on Instagram @acepoker444
The good sign is you take it like a pro. With a good bankroll management, you’ll come back stronger.
What a coincidence,I've recently lost lots of money myself. Stumbled across your channel. Now watching this from a different perspective is refreshing, real and encouraging. what I've learned is that Poker is one of the most humbling games that one could play.Cheers 🍻
Ugg I feel your pain . That is a rough one
Been there man. learn from it, keep grinding. gl
"i lost everything" type of clickbait is obnoxious.
Super tough sesh. Hang in there man.
hang in there bro. really tough session
check, check, check-raise to 1500 is SUCH a strong line. obvi hard to put him on a hand there. Def tilting having him hit everything all the time against you.
Yeah for sure
That was some of the MOST BRUTAL poker I've ever seen! Bloodbath! Now, I'm a bit surprised you're saying you were not on tilt and playing well. I mean, I was on tilt simply from watching! I believe you should have found the fold button several times - the way you unnecessarily torched money had clear signs of tilt-induced calls...maybe a stop-loss isn't a bad idea after all? All the best.
Tough session! We have days like this I am sure you will do better next time. GL
Yessir!
You got my subscription just for being real... All the best in the coming days. Take care!
Aww man painful loss.. it's ok tho you gotta have a loss every now an then, just part of it.. That dang AK (big slick ) gets me a lot lately, I've lost a good bit all in,same with u. first video I watched in a bout a month.bet the next one will be a nice win tho Ace! 💯 have a good day bro..
Ace I know how you feel!! I got destroyed last night myself lost a couple grand couldn’t get anybody out of the pot. They were calling me down super wide and hitting on the river and its sick and it’s disgusting and I know how you feel keep your head up bud.
Ty 4 being honest
Tough game
It’s all good bro!!! Sometimes you can’t beat the cards !
I feel the pain watching this but you dont see when others lose thanks for the video
You just experienced every single one of my cash game sessions since May. Shared suffering.
Tilting to see the dealer constantly rolling the deck
You have incredible emotional maturity to make this video. Also, you are hilarious. I am subscribing.
You took a brutal night with amazing composure, which is a crucial thing amateurs simply can't pull off. Way to stay chill.
8:37 what chips is the dealer putting in the pot?
This is like an average session for me pretty much. The cards are just turned against you and seem to be (and are) just straight up orchestrated to screw me as hard as possible. When I get home and think about it the next day, I sometimes fool myself into thinking that some of my relatively minor mistakes during the bad run were somehow responsible for the loss, and that I could overcome what happened with skill. I don't really believe that, but it's like a subconscious lie that I tell myself, and it fuels my next $1000 loss at 1-2 the next time. Seeing videos like this that showcase how I run on an almost daily basis, is refreshing, because it shows me that neither I, nor the greatest poker player in the world, can win with these cards.
follow that dream man
The good news is that we, who play more than recreational, have been through the same thing. My single biggest hand lost was a bit north of $4,000 when I flopped a straight and my opponent all-in’d me on the river with a higher straight (I had 5-8 suited, he had 8-9 suited!).He was really looking for a club but got really lucky with a “5” on the river. Lick your wounds and come out swinging!
Man I’ve been on a down swing big time I feel your pain….I respect you big time for showing this cause I know how it feels
You’re definitely a better player than me and I know you’ll come back from this slowly but surely
I wish us both luck 🍀 🫡
That's some pretty brutal run-bad. I've had some beats, but never back to back to back like that. But you'll get it back.
I liked it from the start poker has its ups and downs just gotta ride the wave and stay positive
For sure man, positivity is the only way
You will be back!!!!
Hey Ace, I left a comment recently on your Tournament Livestream appearance video similar to the one I’m leaving you now:
At the end of the day it’s only money! You’re alive and you can always make more in the future! Much blessings my friend, stay sharp. 🙏
You’re a better man than I, Ace. This is exactly why I could never be a pro (not that I’m anywhere near your skill level). I know I don’t have the mental game to handle swings like this. You however, clearly do have the mental fortitude. You’ll come back from this shitty run…thanks for always keeping it honest!
Mental fortitude. You are exactly right. It’s the biggest part of life brotha
Bro, I feel ya. Seriously I do. Second best just SUCKS!!! But when you’re second-best the whole friggen night, ouch.
That’s so funny that the guys just jams with J10 on the turn, it’s like he’s protecting his hand with the nuts😂 u want to be in that game brother
Ugh. You are due for some run good hopefully soon. Chin up, and God bless you.
Dang man, that really was a bad run there...
Tough session man. We’ve all been there.
Hey, if I had as bad as day as you had, I wouldn't be able to look so calm while posting a vlog. Better luck on your next sessions 👍
This was hard to watch, so sorry dude! Keep doing what you do. It will all come back and then some.
I think there’s more to poker than ranges, positions, and “textbook” play. As humans it’s impossible for us to play perfect every single time and you have to look for other advantages. If you see a player is running hot, you have to be cautious at all times if you don’t have top 5 nuts. Also if you realize you’re running bad vice versa, play tighter, take a break, and lose that negativity in your head. These are “tells” I’ve picked up that are all speculative and superstitions but that’s the way my mind works and it’s helped me get out of tough situations.
Exactly a lot of players play just like robots like the text book and there's more about poker this guys don't understand , if the player is running hot at the table don't try to battle with him, it's his day ,
Ace do you plan any MTT’s?
Where did you get them black sunnies you got lol
Ouch. That sucks man. Sorry that happened. Nobody likes to see that. Prolly shoulda got up after 4-6k gone and said tonight just isn’t my night. Hopefully you can go on a run again soon. Good luck buddy.
I just had 3 big losing sessions in a in the last 4 sessions as well that depleted a lot of my winnings for the last couple of months. It sucks man and I am getting ready to go back and try to win it back. Its cool that you mention god because I had a month long spiritual experience with god a couple years ago. Not many people can understand unless they experience it and something about the way you said that resonated with me. Hopefully we can both win it back lol. For me it was little different, I was shoving with straight flush draws with a higher percent to win against short stacks and missing a bunch as well and getting sucked out on. Mixed in a bad play here and there. It is what it is, I won 14 out of 16 sessions before this. It definitely hurt my confidence but lets see what the future holds. Good luck at the tables man.
Good try man, tough loss. Pretty clear your play shifted likely losses and tilt. I think you played a few hands sub optimally due to the stress. Its ok, we all do it. You will be back on top in no time.
Ouch... what a session. I have been there but for less money. I feel for you
Laying on the grass is truly getting felted
Absolute pain
@@AcePoker444 hang in there. You got this. Or maybe you don’t but we’ll watch either way 😘
Much props for handling it as well as you did. I suggest, though ultimately your choice to not bring this much with you and have a smaller amount to end the day at if you are running bad. I mostly play $2/5nl and occasionally $5/10nl. No matter what though, I bring $2k with me. I buy in to the $2/5 game for $1k snd have one rebuy. If I am playing $5/10nl I buy in for $1500 or $2,000 and I'm prepared to know the day may end quick if I get stacked early. Losing 5 or 6 buy ins is just a like of make up to do which is why I don't take the risk.
This video made me feel good about my own run bad…
I coined that parking lot hand phrase Ace lol.
The good news is that every successful poker player has gone through nights like this. I find the biggest strength against bad nights is bankroll control. Whatever the buy-in is, after to or three rebuys I call it a night and try another day.
The grind continues brotha
I just had a night like this when your in literal Disbelief. I flopped top set against bottom set on a disconnected rainbow board. All the money went in on the flop, I only run it once, guy turns quads for a one outer. 600 BB pot. Rebought and was then set over setted a few hands later. Taking a few weeks off after a night like that, usually works for me and sets me straight again.
Crazy how fast a bankroll can move. The "right" way to play and win consistently makes you climb by the stairs but a single bad session can give you one hell of a elevator ride down.
Brutal.. especially with the hands with guy to the right
rip😢
You'll get it back. Keep it up!
Yessir thanks bro 🙏🏽
Think of it as a 11k learning session. You will internalize these mistakes and not make them in the future and this clog assists that. Good on you young man!
Damn it, i believe in u next session ACE!
Damn im on a downswing but I'm ready to swing up
This is the type of night that cures you of the Hold 'em addiction.
Oof! I would say this is entertaining but yet so painful to watch. I salute you for playing through all that but you’ll get yours eventually. You got dis! 💪🏾
Can someone explain why he blocks a queen with AK in SB
Just remember when Rampage did the $10k punt heard around the world a few years back & now he’s playing million dollar games. Believe in the process bro you’ll comeback from this no doubt ❤💯
bro whenever i lose big like over 300B's i always find some really good lessons in the loss...there are almost always some very valuable lessons and mistakes you can correct and that is going to make you $ in the future....emotionally it sucks but you are handling it well and you are a better player now then before that session ..
Totally bro, everything is a lesson not a loss 🙏🏽
Why do the 5s and 100s look so close to the same color?
There will be days when everything just go against you and there’s not a single thing you can do about it. The sooner you realize “this is not my day” to pack it up and cut your loss the better off you are.
Yooooooo u are unlucky my brother😮
Shake it off Ace. Luv ur Vlogs.
All those spots where you said you just cant get away from it. I would have made that fold for the exact reasons that they probably floped a set or some dumb shit like they had suited connectors and got to a set... rip. Better luck in the future man. Sorry to see you get ripped so hard
Love the pauses 😂 gotta be sharp about what you say nowadays
sorry man rough day
Raise flop with AA when the fish donks. Usually a draw, maybe top pair.
Results oriented analysis of AA < 75s hand. No one is folding otf or turn. Decision is otr. Unlucky man
How the hell did that guy check a set of 10s 3 times? Unbelievable
All good bro. Learn from the mistakes. Move forward. You paid an 11k poker coaching site
