    Thanks so much. we are in our 3 weeks of biochemistry in medical school. Your lectures cover the highlights of each topic in the right amount of detail that it makes it easy to review the material we have learned in class.     Great visual representation, makes it easy to see big picture. Only addition that would help would be to have structures to show each step.

      His previous videos regarding gluconeogenesis are more detailed, where he goes in-depth on each structure. This is just an overview, assuming you've watched the other 2-3 lectures.

    Wonderful lecture, thank you so much! However, if I'm not mistaken the enzyme in step number 9 should be called phosphohexose isomerase instead of phosphoglucose isomerase. Can we use them interchangeably?

    Why is OAA turned into malate to get out of the matrix? In the malate aspartate shuttle it's turned into aspartate to exit and malate to enter? Are these related or are they entirely different concepts?

    May I question whether or not the oxaloacetate to malate reaction is actually: Oxaloacetate + NADH + proton as malate ends up with 2 more hydrogens than oxaloacetate (according to other sources)
