We are planning an expansion of our CZcams channel so we are looking for people that are interested in helping out on the channel.
You don’t need to be an expert you just need to want to get involved.
We are also looking for people that have some experience in aikido/ judo or any martial art that has falls, as you will need to be able to roll !
If you are interested send us a direct message (DM) either on the CZcams channel or facebook/twitter.
You need to either live or be able to get to London (UK) as that’s where we run our CZcams channel from.
I don't speek english, I like Chanel, subtitules in spanish plis....me gusta tu canal pero no hablo nada de inglés,podrías poner subtítulos en español por favor....espero esté bien escrito lo de arriba me costó mucho traducir al inglés.
Why don't you call the technics by their name?
Irimi nage/ sankyo/ shionage/ Soto kaiten/
I wish I could help but I live in the US. Maybe someday I’ll be able to meet you guys. Man that would be a treat lol.
合気道では殴打はしないんじゃないの。これは合気道を応用した護身術ですね。
In Aikido, physical attack is NOT supposed to do, so what u r doin' is so called Goshin-jutsu which means the way of defendin oneself. However, for me, ur Aikido is more practical in the street fight.
Aren't you a chef too
I love this guy. He makes it look so easy and he's so happy to teach us
That's what you can expect from an aikido lover.
He's like the Bob Ross of self-defense.
@@phyrgx6812 Oh but look over here, this guy has a happy little broken wrist...
I’ve studied martial arts since I was little. I have weapons training and some decent street fighting skills. This is literally the channel I have always wanted to see. We need to make sure we’re not being fancy in a street fight, but effective. Love this!
Yup. Simple.
Same
Watching an old one. Azu, this show will not even be around without your humor and training. I miss you, brother. Hurry back. God bless. 🙏🙏
Guys you are terrific! O'Sensei said atemi is 70% of the fight, with 30% being locks and pins. And you combine it very well. I like Aikidoflow, an excellent youtube channel!
Id have to say in any real fight i may have seen, if they can fight, striking is most of it. I've never seen joint locks irl, only sorry attempts, including this All-State wrestling guy who the boxer wrecked, I'd like to though. 🥊
The founder said “ 90% of aikido is atemi” … then he turned away from highly effective proven akijutsu to creating the piece loving/ largely ineffective Aikido taught now 🙄.
The above is much more the original system and thus with great merit for today’s society 👍
This will bring him down gently...
HELL NO!!
Killed me. Love this dude!
Stylin', Smilin', Rhymin'. Good natured & jolly, yet lethal . Thanks , most practical & direct.
I like this guy because his teaching involves ways tp get out of a fight quickly without wanting necessarily destroy the opponent.
Yes, since aikido is purely a defensive and disarming martial art and the strikes just are thrown in case you need to take out your opponent quickly.
Brilliant and informative as always and still laughing about him "not being able to wipe his bottom".
Oh yeah, the dog was the star!! Bless!!
😂😂😂👍
Is it just me or is this guy lovable? His skills knowledge are great. If Lived in Britain I would definitely be a student. My kind of teacher. Quick to break something and equally quick to laugh. I can relate! Love this guy! Peace, Phil
"Ok, i'll demonstrate on the dog now."
"What?!?!" I almost* shouted loudly... in the middle of the night......
Literally taking notes. Just got into the first fight of my life and it was fucking scary and a situation I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Want tp study up so i dont have to be in that situation again. Thank you so much!
"Like Jesus broke bread" 😂 great video guys. Great techniques, very enjoyable to watch. Azu you the man im just a fan 😄👍
Thanks alot and thanks for the support.
I seriously want to learn these techniques. I'm a 62 year old 5' 7" 180 lbs kinda small male and a musician. I am often in situations around drunk and rowdy people and in possession of expensive instruments at times. I need to know how to disable a wannabe attacker that maybe wants my guitar or just is in a fighting mood. I Really appreciate your videos. ❤️👍
I did aikido for 7 years, I loved it. I want to get back into it but the nearest dojo is too far for me to make on a daily basis.
Aikido is so enjoyable
Try judo
Ever used it in an attack?
You channel is really cool, I’ve been training with weapons and other stuff for 3 years and this channel is very Interesting. :)
I like your style of teaching, it's entertaining and yet serious.
I like the way he says BOOM
Im at school and sometimes there are bully's and sometimes someone just wont stop punching kicking me so Im learning to defend myself and this helped
Funny thing about the dog coming into the video. Would have to wonder how an Aikidoka would handle an attack by a large, vicious dog. I remember reading a book of survival many years ago in which the author described (and included a diagram) that if the dog latches onto your forearm the release technique is to snake your other forearm behind his neck and then snap your captured forearm up and back, which will cause either the dog to release their grip (and hopefully run away in pain) or his neck to be broken. Sounds like an Aikido-type move to me! 😮
Sou praticante de Aikido....suas dicas em situação de rua é muito boa. Você tem carisma.
I love the fact that you differentiate between Dojo and in a real life situation. To me, it is useful in that it is better to know these techniques and hope to never have to use them than to need them and not knowing the techniques.
Thank you so much!
I am in love with you within the first few words. In two seconds the fight is over!
I enjoy your perspective. Thank you!
5:06 "HELLLL NO!" Ha ha love it. And the bars at the end! Keep up the good work!
🤣🤣🤣Do you think I have a carrier in rap?
You just need the right beat. If the Karate Nerd can drop a song, why not?!
This guy is hilarious, and these techniques might save my life one day.
ILLAngel101 honestly if you don’t train against a resisting opponent then absolutely none of this will come in handy in a fight. If you train to use these moves against a sparring partner then sure, they’re pretty standard techniques that are not unique to aikido at all.
You gotta train, if you don't, you won't do this
David Geldner totally agree. These are just techniques that may be effective, but are definitely not guaranteed to work, especially if never practiced. Can you imagine someone being attacked trying to remember this video. Thinking to himself: " mmm what was that move I'm supposed to do now. Hey buddy hang on , I have to check my iPhone so I don't do this technique wrong." Thinking you have techniques to win a fight after watching these videos without ever practicing is more dangerous than if you never watched them because you will have a totally false feeling of confidence and get your ass kicked. Ok, if you practice against a sparring partner who is trying to beat you, then, and only then can these techniques help you. Even people who train regularly are not necessarily good in a fight. You MUST actually train with sparring against an opponent who is trying to beat you up, if you want to be able to fight. Just the fear of being hit, will make you panic and freeze. Then how will you execute your never practiced stuff?
I enjoyed the video. But even getting to the point of using something simpler like kick boxing to defend yourself in a fight takes practice to perfect reaction timing & to generate maximum striking power in a coordinated manner. Parrying full speed punches requires practice. Counter striking requires practice. Using a flowing sequence of moves requires practice. Aikido is a fiddly complicated martial art and takes much longer to learn and be able to use it in the real world without copping a belting as a result. Aikido also doesn’t incorporate any striking, so chances are if you learn it, it will be a softer style with poor training techniques which include people running at you with their arm held out for you to grab.
Might not get allot of respect in an mma event or something but it'll work 200% of the time
Love it! Idea for a video : invite a police representative to discuss the law side of self defence - "reasonable force“ to compliment your moves. Obviously a person has the right to defend them self but knowledge is power.
Good idea
Well, be careful and try to avoid getting your self into that kind of situation. There are some nut jobs as prosecutors!
Very good point
who cares.if they are willing to start a fight they should get with everything that comes with it.what world are you living in...
Very cool vid! On that last technique I see that instead of the throat smash you could just as easily do a palm heel strike to roll the head back on the neck or just elbow straight through the nose, each of which would be a shocker but wouldn't crush the larynx.
He's absolutely right it's not a movie fight with an endless fight scene. End it in 2 seconds and get out it may very well save your life!
Looks great, just remember that in a fight your opponent won't be a compliant assistant helping you follow through with your attacks. They won't know to fall when you want them to and will be actively resisting.
you couldn't of presented these techniques any better, quality video dude
I like the way you present your videos...and it is very informative
You are very good man. You know how to very complicated aikido moves translate into very simple in real situation. Thank you!
all excellent points Thank you for your time Sensei
I just love your sense of humor. Your happiness is contagious.😘
Thanks again for sharing your hard work
Sensei, we love you! Keep on posting this lovely interesting gems of videos .
Very enlightening Aikido lesson!
The techniques that you showed as the non-dojo techniques are the ones we do in daito Ryu Aikijujitsu (Kodakai). We practice them that way in the dojo (at about 50-70% speed and power and sometimes higher) but the uke has to be really good and be able to save themselves otherwise we slow it down a lot. Good stuff... keep showing practice vs reality videos with the bunkai.
Those are very nasty and potentially lethal techniques. I respect the fact that you respect the potential danger and continue to teach with the peaceful and positive attitude that I love this channel for.😎👍🏾
Thanks for the video(s)! I really enjoy your presentations, and the humorous way you both speak, had me laughing out loud to this one.
Love this guys way of teaching aikido. Fighting is really that simple against a nasty bloke
Your videos are very instructive, good job
Thank you for the great videos and all the work that goes into making a video. Very helpful. God bless
Love you videos. They are to the point and short. Just like your techniques. Thank you!

Cool variation of shihonage for self defense. Nice! Thank you.
Definitely like the 1st technique. Simple and effective with the hip rotation with the elbow for power. Great video.

And if he has a knife, you disarm him and you are promoted in that video game to the next level.
Beautiful!

I came from Brazil, your videos are very useful boys!
I'm from Amazonas Brazil
The master. Great tips
I love this channel.. "HELL NO, we are ending this in 2 seconds"
hey guys: i believe aikido is in first place meant as a complementary technique for a swordsman. it is probably hard to gain a profit from it for the mma, where one fights without a sword. but it is worth to try.
Thanks for all of the beautiful, good stuff that y'all tried to give me. I hope that I got all of it. It seems like maybe I'm not always sure what was a left, and what was a right, so I'm sure I did.
I love the videos I've used many of these techniques and yes they are devastating
Great video.
First time I saw one video of your channel and I have to say this that you are very good person
Hank you very much. You the man. Good man
Oh yeah love that side block elbow combo, almost simultaneously, that second defense , love block and upset punch with forward wrist throw , very nice…third one is the ole four corners throw….. last one a quick palm block and tiger mouth to neck-good quick stuff, no need to fool around. Enjoy your videos I’m a 7 Dan Moo Sul Kwan Taekwondo, Hapkido, judo student. Not close enough to London to help out
Loved the tosses cause when a body hits the pavement usually you can knock the wind out of them and if this happens you know the damage you can cause!
Great techniques. I take traditional wing chun and there are many similarities we just have diffrent names. Looking forward to more of your vids!
Love the video and the way you have fun with it as well as being deadly serious. Keep up the good work my friend, Namaste.JP
Thanks John.
Greetings from Cyprus Sansei !
I practice kickboxing but Ive chose aikido and traditional jiu jitsu as my grappling style, I like that you explain how to use aikido for the real fight !
At 6:14 the "patented" LEG "elbow"
🙏
LOVE your channel! Just givin' ya some grief.
Good!!! Aikido must flow.Fighto!!!
that first move if u late on that heymaker u can just put your left hand behind your head like your combing your hair and tuck your chin in to block it and the rest is the same ..i like the sternum area then stomp the head after they go down i dont grapple in a street fight just finish with a quick stomp then leave the scene i love the double leg take down u grab behind their knees scoop them up,-do that right after the sternum shot- just grab one of the ankles under your armpits then snap it -or turn the leg snap with your shoulder These moves are awesome ty aikoflow they the real deal ... btw some other ones u can add to that is the eye jab and sidekick and break the leg too , throat shots or palm strikes in an uppercut motion, cup your hands break the ear drums Those are some nasty manstoppers too
A Joy to watch. Tq.
That jackets 1 zipper away from thriller
The technique at 6:01, which I think is a kaitenage throw, takes a lot of practice. There are quite a few components.
great sankyo and shiho nage ...and it works ! ..done it myself bro !...kaitenage too !
Really Great!
Nice jacket
Love it guys keep up the good work merry xmas
