Thousands have already fled Rafah as Israel's military initiated what it termed a "limited" operation on Monday.
US President Joe Biden has cautioned against the operation, calling it a "red line" crossing. However, Netanyahu disregarded the US warning, affirming Israel's determination to continue the fight, even if it means standing alone.

Those of us who remember what the UK was like before these demonic, vengeful people can only despair. They don't share our values and way of life, so what hope they will ever be integrated? Where are all the protestors for the Rohingya Genocide in Myanmar by the Burmese Government or the Uighur Genocide by the Chinese Government? Israel was not Israel before it became a country and the Jews did not have a mandate from the UN , the British had a mandate from the League of Nations to establish a homeland for the Jews in the geographical region of "Palestine", control of which had been ceded to the League by the last ruling authority , the Ottoman empire, being the British they promptly backtracked on their promises and gave a larger portion of the land to the Arabs (the Hashemites) as a consolation prize for their help in the war and for losing out to the Saudis. The British became concerned by the level of immigration and the civil unrest that was brewing and encouraged the Arabs to turn to violence in the hope to cool the enthusiasm of the British government for the whole "Zionist project", only the Jews fought back and have been fighting back ever since. Israel was prepared to accept the UN proposal (as they have many others) but the Arabs rejected it and chose war, they lost. Gaza and the "west bank" were areas intended for the Jews under the British mandate and it seems that nobody wants "the right of conquest" to apply to Israel even that it is that very "right" that HAMAS is using to justify their religious war on the Jews, the "divine" imperative to "drive them out from where they drove you out" and to remove the hegemony of the Jews (even though that is an exaggerated narrative) (s2:191 & s9:29)

Palestinians voted hamas in knowing they hate Jews and are terrorists. They hate Israel too. Their children are brought up to hate the Jewish people. After hamas committed the atrocities against the Israelis, the palestinian people cheered. They are not innocent. And, by the way, Israel has the right to defend itself. And, no, there is no genocide. That's propaganda from hamas. THEY are the ones threatening genocide against the Jews.
