  • In 2007 Shaun Davey and Rita Connolly collaborated with Seamus Begley and Eilís Kennedy to form a band with their neighbours in a small village in West Kerry. They performed a specially-composed collection of songs with words - in Irish - from the poems of local poet, Caomhín ó Cinneide (d. 1982). The band was named Béal Tuinne (The Bow Wave) after the name of his boat. The band also featured Lawrence Courtney, Daithi O Sé, Eóin ó Beaglaoich, Jim Murray, Gerry O'Beirne and Donagh Hennessey. This compilation, by kind permission of Phillip King and South Wind Blows productions, traces the collaboration and the recording of the band's album, live in St James's church, Dingle.
