Thank you. A little more lighthearted than my usual lesson, but enjoyable to make all the same👍

Thanks for posting- trying NOT to use a pick following the recent ‘Bass Day’ in Coventry as I thought that they were prohibited!😄
But maybe I’ll give it a go. I do like the ‘attack’ that a pick gives you but it is subtle.
By the way, have you ever given a lesson on the Jamerson ‘chromatic exercise’? A bit of a finger twister for us beginners but good when it’s played properly!

Thanks Kevin. Yes the pick does give a nice attack. I do like refer the finger picking method for the Jamerson sound though.
I’ll give the chromatic approach some thought👍

Thanks for this huge effort 👌
Kaye pick sounds good with the musicman, better still with the old P bass, but honestly, you could throw some nails on this bass and it will sound incredible, such a good bass ❤
For my taste only fingerstyle sounds like Jamerson, maybe with a felt pick?

I agree, but I was so taken with this pick, I though it would be a fun video to make.

@academyofbass And right you were 😎
Appreciate the effort 👌 and maybe I'll give them a try, still haven't found what I'm looking for, to quote a nearly unknown band/singer 🤔 😂

Far better than a felt pick.
