Can you set up a Yamaha YZ250X for Hard Enduro?
The answer is Yes.
Most people are concerned by the lack of electric start when stalling the bike in bad situations. While this IS a concern, this generally comes down to finding a comfortable set-up for you + your terrain, as well as fine tuning your motor for extra luggability.
My buddy Ethan and I are going to ride the singletrack at Iron mountain and see how big of logs he can hop along the way.

Been thinking about adding a YZ250X to the stable. Been impressed with my YZ450FX.
Been riding KTM 300s snice 1993. Have 93, 97, 01, 07, 16 and a 22.
Everyone always has good things to say about the YZ250X. A new one would probably complement my 89 YZ250WR and the 94 WR250.
Not much beats a 300 for ride-ability and reliability. Mine only has 650hrs and counting.
Where tf do you store so many bikes😂
One of the best bikes I ever had was a WR 250. I wish I could get it back. Father Time has other ideas…… enjoy every minute of those bikes.
