@Lady Love, They are doing a reboot in Fall of 2020 of Boondocks. Aaron Mcgruger will be the show runner, not sure if he will be doing the actual writing . John Witherspoon was so excited because 50 episodes were recently ordered and John talked about the reboot in an interview I just watched in May 2019. The show will not be the same without him because for his character Grandpa, John said they used his actual voice, and also let him adlib his lines to increase the comic humor to the show.

John was a friend to me and my sons called him uncle John. We still have issues believing he's not here anymore. My ex wrote and produced his 63 cent cd. He took us to the Kings of Comedy in DC. He was very generous to those he loved. I really miss him. It's almost a year since he passed.
