I understand the struggle: speaking in pure Filipino* is difficult, even for native speakers of the language. At least in the capital, speaking in pure Filipino is a bit unnatural, except in formal and academic settings.
Kapag nagsasalita ako ng Filipino, hangga't maaari ay iniiwasan kong gumamit ng mga salitang Ingles/Espanyol, lalo na kung may katumbas naman ito sa ating wika.
Of course, it would be a tall order for non-native speakers to reach fluency in Filipino, but i find it commendable that they take the effort in learning and using it in everyday life.
Also, i like the part when Kristy was being a good sister to Eun-bee by giving her life lessons. Hehe. Sana maging abogado siya (there's an inside joke that some lawyers are referred to as "abogago" haha).
*I guess people know this already, but Filipino is a language that is mainly based on Tagalog, a language that has different variants across Central and Southern Luzon.
