I bought this car type yesterday, leaking from fuel filter/housing, if I just disconnect the hoses going to the filter would the system need to be bled if only the clips/hoses are disconnected ?
A bit late to be responding to your comment but did you have any luck? I am in the same predicament with my 2006 1.9 tdci Vectra C. It doesn't seem to want to budge, many thanks, Dave.

Hi. It is not necessary to bled.

Can't seem to get the filter housing itself out? Looks like you just lifted it out?
Hi can you syphon off the petrol tank if you've put the wrong fuel in?
just looked at mine .. bottom plug was off .. dose it cause a problem ??
What clip/clips did you loosen to unsecure the filter from its bracket? My fuel filter is fixed tight with no obvious answer.
