How to Make DIY Decorative Cubes

How to Make and Decorate a cube | Handmade cube | Paper Cube | Desktop Décor | Decorative Cube - Tutorial by Crystal Best
In this video, I will show you step by step, how to make your very own DIY cube. But not just any plain cube….I’m showing you how to decorate it beautifully to use as a display gift for any occasion or a beautiful addition to your desk!!

Materials you'll need to make your cube in three sizes:
All sized are in INCHES and are Cardstock.
1. For the 1 inch (baby) cube you would need:
a. 1 piece 3 x 4 ½ in cream
b. 6 pieces 7/8 x 7/8 in chocolate brown
c. 6 pieces ¾ x ¾ in tan
d. Die cut words B A B Y, a flower and a star
2. For the 2 inch (happy Birthday) cube you would need:
a. 1 piece 6 x 9 in orange
b. 6 pieces 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 in chocolate brown mirror
c. 4 pieces 1 ¾ x 1 ¾ in cream
d. 1 printed or stamped sentiment 1 ¾ x 1 ¾
e. Printed Happy Birthday
f. Die cut butterflies, flowers and a cupcake
g. Gems
3. For the 2 inch (picture) cube you would need:
a. 1 piece 6 x 9 in black
b. 6 pieces 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 in gold mirror
c. 6 printed pictures 1 ¾ x 1 ¾
4. For the 3 inch (inspirational) cube you would need:
a. 1 piece 9 x 13 ½ in white
b. 6 pieces 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 in purple
c. 6 pieces 2 ¾ x 2 ¾ with sentiments/scriptures or anything you would like printed
For all the cubes you would also need:
5. Paper Cutter
6. Bone folder or ruler to burnish score lines

8. Ruler
9. Glue
