  • The CNC602A does not come capable of performing a reverse flush but with a simple modification, it can be done. In this video, I'll show how to modify the fuel rail fittings so that the injectors can be placed upside down for a reverse flush. Then by using the #2 setting, (general spray test) where the injectors are held open for 15 seconds, the tester can perform a reverse flush.

    Thanks Martin, any plans for video on preparing and testing decaped injector? There are some interesting views on this but would trust your more methodical approach to the process and getting it right

    Hi Martin, amazing video. I do have a question, what does reverse flushing the injectors do to them? How does it help them improve? Blessings Martin!

    Sir Martin, Did you take out the baskets ( filters ) for this test, it looked like it ? Do you rebuild injectors for your self or just clean them ? I was wondering ( gets me in trouble sometimes ) if adding food coloring on the spray pattern test ( or if it would even work ) so you could see the spray pattern better ? Being kind of a clear color is kind of hard to see that well. I'm not sure if I asked you before but Do you have a special cleaner you use for cleaning injectors or what are you using in this machine ? GREAT VIDS. & THAT MACHINE IS PRETTY COOL I MUST SAY BUT ALSO YOU ALWAYS MAKE STUFF BETTER TOO, THANKS SIR MARTIN FOR THE EDUCATIONAL VIDS.

      Thank you, no I didn't remove the filter baskets for this video, and I have been rebuilding injectors for years for myself. I just enjoy experimenting with them. I use Doctor Injector Test-Rite Calibration Fliud and Blue Goo for the ultrasonic bath.

    Very interesting so thanks for your videos Martin. Is injector wiring plugged in normal way around or in reverse (do they operate in reverse polarity for reverse flush?). I'm assuming they plug in as normal as I didn't notice any changes made for this.

      @martinbuilt  Před 3 lety +1

      Your very welcome Mark, yes plugged the injectors in normally.

    Made a homemade DIY flow bench and invested all the money I saved into a 30L ultrasonic cleaner but major downside of my homebuilt I cannot do proper leak test at high PSI or backflush as the ability to seal the injector rail and injectors firmly isn't present on my set up. I can do comparative flow test and inspect spray pattern but backflush is manual 1 at a time and messy and a major pita

    You seem to like the CNC602A pretty well. I tried one but it rarely pressurized, leaked and generally didn't work; ebay seller is accepting its return. It is possible that I "ruined" it by first filling it with Lucas Fuel Injection Cleaner which is quite thick. I have since learned to use "Calibration Fluid" which I just ordered. Trying to decide between buying another CNC602A or perhaps a Tektino 8-cylinder tester (which claims to do reverse flush). With so many ebay sellers selling the CNC602A, I wonder if some are known rejects. Can you tell us where you bought yours?

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  Před 4 lety

      I would have preferred an 8 cylinder tester. I did get this one from eBay from this seller Fuel Injector Cleaner and Tester ebay.to/3hvCSWZ
      It's been working well except the ultrasonic bath burned up. It does not come with a timer so don't leave unattended like I did, went inside and for got about for 3 hours.
      I think it is important to use the correct fluid. Make sure anything you use is NOT flammable.

    Hello Martin. I order ct160 and ct150 and started leaking before installing injectors. I owned a shop and I am trying something that can work every day. How is your machine holding up? Do you have any idea which machine I should buy? I will appreciate your response. Thanks

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  Před 2 lety

      Yes, I like this machine. After adding the reverse flush to the machine it does everything I need it to do. I do wish it had a built-in fuel filter. I will be adding that someday. I don't think any other brand has a filter either.
