Gaslands - Very simple post apocalyptic car wargame played with customized hotwheels and matchbox cars, very cheap to get into, rules are very well written and streamlined, and just hunting around for cool diecast cars becomes a hobby in and of itself, and me and my group have even taken to buying cars just to trade them with eachother.

    Great List!
Mantic Deadzone and FireFight are awesome and fun games as well. Great synergy between those two games. Mantic's upcoming Epic Warpath also looks amazing. And I am really looking forward to try Halo: Flashpoint, that is based on the Deadzone rules, but made even more accessible with prebuild minis and easy setup. That looks fun as well. I will try to play that with my board game friends, who are a bit intimidated by war games.

@@The.Game.Cave. I have never played Mutant: Year Zero. Also looks very interesting as a gate way game to war gaming. It has a similar accessible approach as Halo: Flashpoint, so I will be looking into that as well. But overall I think that the grid movement from Deadzone, that Halo: Flashpoint also will adopt, could be something my board game friends would appreciate.
