One of the biggest issues to date on the CB350, CL350 / CB360, CL360, CJ360 / CB450, CL450 families of motorcycles is the upper triple trees. OEM Honda upper triple trees are notorious for cracking on the "clamp around fork tube" designs that were being used in the '70s. This is such a problem that a not broken OEM triple tree can be nearly impossible to find for these motorcycles. If you do happen to find one, the price is unrealistically high.
Casting processes and metallurgy have greatly improved since the 1970s which allows us to remake the stock triple trees to an even higher quality than the original ones. We have thickened the fork pinch ears and cast them using a modern aluminum alloy so the triple tree remains flexible and strong. Along with these improvements, they also retain mount and bolt holes in the proper locations so when you go to install it onto your motorcycle, it bolts on just as a factory triple tree did.
If you are riding a CB175, CL175, CB200, CL200, SL350, CB500T, CB500K, CB550K, CB550F, CB350F, CB400F, and CB750 and are in need of a replacement triple, we do not currently make replacements at this time. However, contact us via common-motor.com and let us know if you would be interested in having them made. If there's enough demand for it, we can move forward to manufacture some of these other styles in the future.

It's great to see that Common Motor continues to find manufacturers for these very hard to find parts.
Brendan you rock, I've been following you for years, everything you do is with such detail ALMOST anyone can do all these repairs. Thanks for keeping the old Hondas alive, I will be being a rebuild on a 1982 cb450t I hope in April. Looking forward to getting parts from Common-Motors and reviewing video footage. Pretty sure I've watched them all, rebuilt a dozen plus bikes in my youth, my son wants a bike, so here I go again, have three old Hondas that are a mess I bought over the years, anyway I'm babbling thx for all you do, reach out to you soon. Tim
Another CB 175 owner. Would want one of these for sure.
The triple tree on my '73 350G broke in the exact same spot after 50 years of sitting in a shed somewhere, wasn't over tightened, wasn't touched in any way, the moment I released the bolts it snapped in half instantly. It's just the bad and old aluminum pour technique.
Those triples are killer! I bought one couple years ago for a tired 350. Fit and finish is perfect. They mount right on. Well worth the price.
I wish I had known you could get your manufacturer to make these for other bike models - I had to replace the triple tree on a 72 CB500 last year. Found one on ebay that was in OK shape and is working fine - but I would have ordered a new (and better) one from you had I known about it! Thanks Brenden - always good stuff.
Vote for the 200 please. I have 3 200's and one good set of trees between them.
I would love to see something like this available for my 72 cb750
Got one for my cb360 last year from you guys. I love it!
awesome, i will be ordering mine when i get to that part of the restore.. thank you.
Good job buddy 👍👍👍👍
Hey Brendan as always am finding your tutorials valuable so thank you very much. Question on the CB 200 lower tree clamp. What is that lug protruding outwards? Cable guide?
CB175 owner here. I'd love an updated triple tree clamp!
Email us! Best way for us to keep track of the headcount. Things last this have to be made in large batches at a time so I need enough CB175 owners to need it to make a batch.
NICE!!!
My cb 200t needs one as well
question: How come you don't include some content on the old GL 1000, 1200?? not just triple tree's but, all around content.
Hi Brenden, thanks for your excellent video. I have a CB450 K5 and the triple clamps seem in good shape, would you recommend changing them for safety reasons or would I feel it crack with out killing myself. Respect your opinion. Thanks
.
What about the 1984 200es Big Red triple tree
I have a CL175 and my triple tree broke, I would buy one if u made it
Sir, does replacing the triple tree resolves the one side pulling problem of a motorcycle? " my front fork to tyre & rims all are okay " still my motorcycle is pulling to the left side .
Would this triple tree fit on a 80 cb750
Looking for a triple tree with speedometer mounts for 1979 Honda cb750k. Who makes them?
Im new to this so i apologize if my question sounds dumb but i see on the website there are CB350 parts, i have a CL350 are the parts interchangeable?
CB550 would be amazing!

Do you have a top triple tree for the CB400F (1975)
I bought a Common Motor top triple tree for my CB250G5 a while back and this has the same forks as the CB400F The only difference seems to be the half moon cutaway where the ignition switch console fits
Hi, short question, is that working also ont the CB250 g5 from 1975? I heard that it has same part as CB360.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Yes! If you have one of the CB250's from the UK they are the same as the CB350 / CB360s. As long as your CB250 is using the clamp around the fork tube design of triple tree like the ones in the video, our CB350 / CB360 triple tree will be what you need.
Where can I got the top triple tree for the 1974 CB350F
Mine cracked about ten years ago and I kept an eye on ebay for nearly a year until one came up for sale... I ended up paying $150 dollars for it. And no doubt it's the same poor quality cast metal as the original
Will these work on a 350f?
not the same
Who are these jokers
It would make it a lot easier if you provided, dimensions, exploded view, some type of reference, plus you don't return my e- mails, are u a joke ,if not prove it,
You claim to be an expert on early Hondas,I don't know if your an expert bench racer,or trying to pull a fast one
