DRUMMER REACTS TO AN OFFERING FROM DRUMEO W/ ISOLATED DRUM TRACKS

- Hey Worshippers, I only just started listening to Sleep Token through my reaction channel last year. At first I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about but after listening to Will Ramos cover of Chokehold I knew I had to give them a listen and wow! They blow me away with every song I have heard so far! As a drummer I particularly enjoy listening to II's drumming.
When I saw he was going on drumeo I was so excited to hear what he had to say and get a masterclass in drumming from one of the most creative and musical drummers I've heard in a long time. Makes sense seen as tho Eric Moore is one of II's main influences.
While I was editing this video I thought I'd play with this AI tool that can extract drums from the music and it worked surprisingly well!
Just thought I'd chop together this video of him mainly playing isolated drums mixed with the songs from "An offering from Drumeo"
This the first time I have tried this before isolating the drums and it just a different way to experience the songs and II's amazing drumming abilities.

They really are! III & IV are just along for the ride 🤣 together tho they all sound phenomenal and are making music that takes you to another dimension
So true, found them recently and Im obsessed. Very odd as Im more of a hip hop/r&b guy. They're just so unique and as you said, their songs give you a feeling thats almost unrecognizable! @@ShaneAlanGower
II said that he had a lot of RnB and Gospel influences. I think ST just appeal to a wide audience cause of how diverse their music is. I'm also still very new to them. I want to just listen to all their music now but also saving it for reactions. Really want to do 'Take Me Back To Eden' next.

This guy is a phenomenal drummer. Technique is out of this world. The kit and especially the cymbals are so cool

Danny Carey is the GOAT 🐐 & one of my all time favorite drummers 🔥 I've only recently discovered ST so still got more exploring to do but from what I've seen & heard I'm loving so far!
Very few drummers can make the drums sound musical and II manages to achieve that with his style of playing.

Tried something a little different by isolating the drums so we could appreciate the drumming a little more. 🤘 Thought there wouldn't be many videos like that and people who really appreciate the drums would love it. When editing this video I learned so many things he does that you sometimes can't hear with all the instruments.

It's a little different. Not with all the full songs but mainly just focusing on the drumming. I actually really enjoyed these songs and II's drumming. I'm thinking of doing a deep dive video into Sleep Token. I'm starting to learn more about their lore and what they all about and it's making me real excited. So I'm thinking of just sitting down this weekend and listening to all their songs and record my reactions and then make a video about my Sleep Token Journey from start to end. Think it be pretty cool. Might take some time to edit but I'm keen for it.
That was an awesome video!! I'm no expert drummer but the way you isolated that was so sick, Every time you watch him you discover something you missed, the little details end up being so complex all in all. I'm seeing them live in Philadelphia in May. Can't wait!

It's not a problem. Thought by the time I released this people would have seen it lots. So thought I would try something a little different. I watched this so many times during editing and picked up on so many different things I missed. Especially when I isolated the drums I was shocked at how it turned out and thought maybe people would enjoy this. I'm wanting to go down a deep dive Sleep token journey soon. After seeing this I'm very intrigued by them.

Was so good! Took me ages to edit and get the drums seperate but was worth it. I still want to listen to Take Me Back To Eden properly that song seems so intense and beautiful. I tried to do something different for this so will see how it turns out. It really did consume so much of my week tho and I think I know all these songs off by heart now 🤣
