- The man who fatally shot two people inside a Corona, California movie theater was sentenced on Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Joseph Jimenez, 23, was convicted on two counts of first-degree murder in the 2021 deaths of Anthony Barajas, 19, and Rylee Goodrich, 18. KTLA's Shelby Nelson reports. Feb. 26, 2024.

The movie theater is 10 mins from my house. I worked so close to it a few years ago also. This case hit home for me. I also went to the victims vigil. It was so sad 😢
