I have the Epiphone DR-100. It is a very solid guitar. I recommend upgrading the tuners to some Grovers.

Fender and Cort sounds better than others for me.
Battle came down to the Ibanez vs the Fender for me, definitely the fullest and most lively sounds on both IMO but unfortunately I can only pick 1 for my first guitar and I ended up giving in to the Fender in the end xD. Really happy and excited for it to arrive now, thanks a lot for the vid!! It's the perfect comparison format for newbies like myself! :)

I really like this format of comparisons, I liked the Cort's sound and I am bisaed to the Epi as I noodle around on a WR/DR-100, its almost 8 years old now and seems to just keep sounding better as the grains tighten up (my guess), using good medium bronze strings and it has a great presence for what it is, a lot of my musician friends enjoy its sheer play-ability, I think it would probably benefit from some decent bone and a proper set-up though.
His fitness tracker says 15,000 steps today.
Everybody missing how in tune is epiphone

I think the Fender is most satisfying for my ears (but we´re all different)... To my surprise the Yamaha would be the last one on my list, too bright for my taste... But to summon up the different ways of playing in this video I would say :
1. Fender
2.Ibanez
3.Epiphone
4.Cort
5.Yamaha
Yeah... I'm completely new to music, so if you get around to reading this would you tell me if this makes any sense?
Yamaha sounded, "rich" or bright like you said, but like it sacrificed all of its warmth to get it, and that really showed up on both picking and strumming. The Ibanez seemed "hollow" to me, like I was hearing the hollow sound of the impact with the strings through the notes themselves. Cort seemed too... echoey? Blended? Like the sound was bouncing around too much inside and got muddled. Dunno how to describe it. Fender and Epiphone both sounded best to me, with Fender being a warmer sound and the Epiphone being a richer sound... like the mids were more prominent and they kinda overshadowed the lows and the highs? Where the Fender seemed more balanced throughout the spectrum? Not sure if I like the Epi or the Fender better, though.

здравствуйте! по вашему мнению, что лучше будет, у меня есть старенькая потрёпанная yamaha f310, но есть возможность обменять ее на абсолютно новую либо ibanez pf15, либо на epiphone dr100, что будет лучше, оставить старенькую ямаху или поменять ее, если поменять, то на какую?
Если менять то на что гораздо лучше - FG800 - 830. Но на
Dr100 и pf15 нет смысла менять.
I will choose a junk guitar over high dollar guitars and do the work to them. But my Fender fa 125 to me sounds and feels better to me than the Epiphone 100 or even my Martin X series? Might sound crazy but did....
