  • Comparison video for the most popular reusable capsules for Nespresso Original Line capsule machines.
    We are introducing the types of capsules available for Nespresso Machine, where they are made from and the result they produce using the same coffee blend and grinding.
    We hope it's a helpful video for you to see if you would like to try a Reusable Capsule and what type of reusable pods would work best for you.
    Here is the review of the flavors that we missed in the video:
    Body Intensity / Crema:
    Sealpod: 4.5 / 4.5
    Waycap: 4.5 / 4
    China Lid: 4 / 3.5
    China Metal: 3 / 3
    Plastic: 3 / 2.5
    NOTE:
    I tried to be as neutral as possible as the reviewer, but because it's a personal review it's merely my point of view.
    The performance results of the samples chosen does not represent the performance of their all production, as it may depend on the level of grind, pressure and so many other parameters.

      I would say that Sealpod and Waycup have best performance in terms of richness, aroma and body. If you want to fill your capsules in advance and have them prepared for anytime, I would recommend Sealpod because it comes with the fresh cover and the lids makes it air-tight. If you have time to fill your capsule when you want to brew it, Waycup is also a good option, because it does not have consumable.

    Number 4, the slow one is the best, imho.
    Nespresso in general bews way too fast, the coffee is therefo a bot watery.
    You'd want the first drops to come out thick and slow, oily, like honey.
    Make the grind finer and tamp with more force, in order to get real espresso.

      @sealpodreusablecapsule9234  Před rokem +1

      Thanks Emerson, The ones with solid lid will be in touch with the front plastic blades of the machine, but since the solid lid is harder than the plastic blade the plastic blade won't be able to punctuate the lid, and this in the long run MIGHT cause damage to the machine

    • @sealpodreusablecapsule9234
      @sealpodreusablecapsule9234  Před rokem +2

      I have tested using Starbucks Espresso Dark roast before and it produces quite good results. If you are getting weak crema, 1. check if you are filling and tamping your capsule abit so it have more pressure before coming out, fill at least 4.5g-5g of ground coffee. 2. make sure you have descaled your machine (normally every 6 months) so water pressure is normal. 3. Make sure to use capsules that comes with Aluminium lids for better results. If your reusable capsule uses metal cover, the existing hole will not allow pressure to build inside, so it will not produce good crema. Let me know if any of this helps.

    • @rl9754

      @@sealpodreusablecapsule9234 thank you.
      1. I am tamping with abit of hard pressure, should I be? I am filling coffee so it is about 2mm under the top of the brim so there is small gap.
      2. Machine is descaled every 6 months yes.
      3. I am using the sealpod aluminium sticker lids.
      Any help is appreciated!

    • @sealpodreusablecapsule9234
      @sealpodreusablecapsule9234  Před rokem +2

      @@rl9754 With Sealpod you can will 4.5g~5g which is around one and half scoop of coffee.
      Fill one scoop of coffee first, tamp it down with some pressure. And then fill about half scoop, gently tamp it. Clean the excess grounds on the rim and then seal with the sticker.
      Here're the tips for you:
      - If the beans are ground too coarsely, the water will run through them too quickly, so the flavor won't be developed and it will result in watery coffee. In this case, tamp the coffee harder when filling the capsule.
      - If the beans are ground too fine, the shot will pull for too long which could make the espresso bitter. In this case, Tamp the coffee lightly when filling the capsule.
