Been trying to get Akai to add the remaining legacy features to the MPC 2.x firmware for a decade. There are several dozen features found on older MPCs that are not in the newer ones. Some of these features are considered obsolete but many with improve the current ones. I compiled a list that I sent to Akai many years ago. I will release that list in the coming days on several social media platforms.

I like that you highlighted the fact that the 2nd sequence function needs to come back though. (The 2nd sequence is unique to the 2KXL and 2500 via JJOS update).
And this is not even mentioning the A/D converter difference between old and new MPCs.
