Installing an FMF shorty and Vforce 3 reeds on a 2021 kx100 #8

I’ll be installing an fmf shorty and Vforce 3 reeds to see if it makes a difference. I instantly noticed more low-mid range power and better throttle response

Hello, any chance you know what size bolts I need to mount my exhaust, silencer fell off while riding lost the bolts so need to know what bolts/fasteners I need to buy 🤣

I'm thinking about doing reeds in my 07 kx100, are there any where I don't have to cut off the teeth? just wondering.

Nope, just had to turn up the idle a tiny bit

Don’t let it idle because it will eventually blow your power valve, then your plug will go out, then your bike will blow up. 2 strokes don’t like idling

Hahaha in 20 years of motocross racing I’ve never heard anything like this the power valve doesn’t move on idle if you foul a plug your running to rich. I’d leave my CR 250 and RM and YZ all ticking over on choke while I put my gear on at the track so it was warm to ride. “Blow your power valve” 😂

@@joski9030 that’s on choke, when idling on no choke, it doesn’t run hot enough to burn the 2 stroke mix off the spark plug causing it to foul, this will also make your power valve get gunned up with oil

Yes, it sounds the same but has way better throttle response and more low-mid range power
