Those are words of compassion, from a human being. That's clearly not what the word of God says. He wants, everyone to hear the gospel, he also gives everyone the free will to accept or deny. The fact of the matter is that , society has become it's own god . The Bible warned us of making for ourselves graven images, to worship.

In Jonathan Edwards’ commentary on Ezekiel 15:2-4, he says: "Mankind, if they bring forth no fruit to God, are wholly useless unless it be in their destruction. According to Revelation 18:20, when the saints in glory shall see the wrath of God executed on ungodly men, it will be no occasion of grief to them, but of rejoicing. The purpose that hell serves is to gladden heaven; suffering sinners serve the purpose of contributing to the bliss of redeemed sinners by glorifying the justice of God.”

They ate the fruit and the consequence was death... This sermon is saying they won't die, which is what the serpent said to Eve... So is he saying God who said they would die. Gen 2:17 is wrong, and the serpent is right who said you will not die Gen 3: 3 you will not die... Eternal punishment is the second final death, after the judgement, after the resurrection when Jesus comes again. After the second coming one group gets eternal death because they are burnt up, so of course they will weap over a bad decision, but they will not be burnt forever. One group gets eternal darkness of death and another group eternal life. From what I understand from scripture sin leads to death period not a burning in hell forever. I don't think God wants people to be Christians only because they are afraid. I've read my Bible to understand this best I can. Eternal destruction is death not flaming agony it is even clear to me even in this sermon trying to say the opposite. Vessels made for destruction how can you say one Vessel is made for destruction and another for life, but yet call the destruction a form of life where people suffer forever... when you destroy something the purpose is to destroy it not keep it burning forever... So, yes I can't wrap my mind around this at all, or why someone would want to take a parable that isn't literal and make a docterine of hell around it. Well luckily the Bibe definitely doesn't say your understanding, or theology on what happens to the unsaved in the next life is to determine your salvation or standing with Christ. Again how can you say people down play hell by saying it is the second death. Even the Bible calls it the second death.... not the second never-ending torment... So is death the wages of sin or not??????

False teaching from the beginning! Gen 2:6; God formed Adam from the dust of the earth, breathed into his nostril the breath of life, and he became a living being.' So Adam didn't get a soul, he BECAME a soul, a huge, existential difference. Here, from the first second, pagan doctrine of the immortal soul comes into place, which pervert all other teaching! Nowhere Scripture says that man has an immortal soul, I can't believe what I'm just hearing! What does Scripure say? Ezekiël 18:20: 'the soul that sins, shall die'!! Please tell me where Scripture says, that souls will never die or are immortal..??
Even animals are (living) souls (Nephes); Gen. 1:20, e.g. living beings. Unbelievable he makes such a big claim, not even backing it up with Scripture!
Wich Greek or Hebrew word is he pointing to, when he talks about 'Hell'? Gehenna (Ben Hinnom)? The valley outside of Jerusalem, a burning place, where the wicked will be burned? That's the Judgement place on earth. See Isaiah 66:24, it shows dead bodies, being eaten by worms en burned with fire. Has nothing to do with, being somewhere in a imaginary place. The valley of Hinnom will be the place where the 'eternal fire' ( the fire of God) will destroy his enemies.
He states: 'there are people in (hell) right now', which Scripture backs this up?
2 Thes. 1:9; 'eternal destruction (away) from the presence of the Lord'. He indicates that Paul is talking about 'hell', that is speculation at least, Paul isn't talking about hell (there), and b.t.w. Paul in all his letters NEVER talks about hell, which should make you think! And also the word 'away' is not in the Greek text, it's put there because of theological reasons. I think this man didn't bother to study the original languages.. 2 Thes. 1:9 tells us from Whom the Judgement is coming: from the Lord (a quote from Isaiah 2), and this phrase is also used in Acts 3:19 where you can see how it should be translated. You cannot read things into the text, that are not there. This verse simply says that God will come with (His) fire and punish with eternal destruction, yes, destruction, because with fire you destroy everything!
Ps. 139:8; He is translating 'Sjeool' into hell. He really doesn't understand what he is talking about. If Sjeool (Hebrew) means 'hell', my goodness, tell me if Jacob is also in 'hell' (Gen. 37:35)?
In the Thora the highest penalty for sin is death, why is 'hell' as a punishment never mentioned there? Would it also be fair if God had warned Adam and Eve for 'hell' as a consequence of sin?
'Jesus used Gehenna as an analogy'. Yes, it's an analogy of future punishment. As people where burnt there in the past, so they will be burnt there (in the Valley of Hinnom) in the future..!
'The rich man and Lazarus'. So 'Gehenna' is hell, and now suddenly 'Hades' is also 'hell'. Well it seems he can stretch words and meanings anyway he wants.. Interestingly the story doesn't anything say about faith (in Jesus) as a condition of entering Heaven. Moreover, he says that Lazarus went into heaven. Does the text say that, I don't think so.. Even Peter says in Acts 2 that 'David was not ascended into heaven'.
'Eternal punishment': If someone is annihilated forever, that would be an eternal punishment.
'The slightest sin is cosmic treason'; this comes out of his own mind, not out of Scripture.
Sin that is done unintentionally is never defined as rebellion in Scripture.
'Infinite sin', another idea out of his own mind, not out of Scripture.
The example of murder a random person vs the president? The penalty in both casus is the same: death penalty!
Punishment against God can only be infinite? Nowhere does Scripture say that, it comes out of his own mind. If sin can only be punished infinite, why is Jesus not still suffering (in hell)?
People will be thrown into 'everlasting fire', that doesn't say that they will burn forever.
If you really believe this teaching, and are realizing what you are actually believing, you will become (emotionally) wrecked! Poor people listening to this teaching and taking it. It involves such a horrific and evil picture of God..! I'm convinced that no real love towards God can exist if really believing and understanding the reality about what was teached here..

I consider annihilation to be a live option but I'm not sure.
There's also a middle view that suggests our perceptions come from our being alive, and if our bodies are damaged or can impare prescription. If our souls are damaged or can further impare our perception. The Bible describes that at a minimum, our souls will be severely damaged by the Word of God which cuts asunder both soul and spirit. It seems to me such a person wouldn't be at the height of perceptivity. Almost like a half living state, if it could be called such. We know that the life of the body can be extinguished very easily, but we don't know what it takes to extinguish a soul. James 2 says that when the life of the body is extinguished, the soul departs as though it was unharmed. Same with Jesus's words about those who kill the body but cannot harm the soul.

The Word of God teaches otherwise. Nobody is "worth" saving. ALL humanity has done evil and is worthy of death and Hell. That is a fundamental truth.

@@aztec0112 That's not what I said. I'm not saying people are worth saving because of thier own merit as you suppose but that people are not worthless-for example babies that are aborted are seen as worthless that people who abort them do not agree with the scriptures that they are made in God's image.

I'm sorry, but when the original Greek and Hebrew of the Bible is taken into full account, the false doctrines of Hell and eternal conscious torment and eternal separation from God simply do not hold up.

Apparently, "Hell" is such an essential doctrine of the faith for you, that you never even bothered to ask me if I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father and that God raised Him from the dead, in accordance with the Scriptures. (I do!)
You never even asked me if I believe that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the WORLD (I do!)

What do the words "worm does not die" and "fire is not quenched" mean?

@@waynehampson9569 Fires were constantly kept burning in Gehenna (the Valley of Hinnom) - the word Jesus actually used (not "Hell"!). And as long as dead bodies and refuse was cast into Gehenna, maggots were a permanent feature. But "fire is not quenched" (the present tense in which Jesus was speaking to His audience) does NOT mean "fire will never go out for all eternity". Gehenna (Valley of Hinnom) stopped burning many centuries ago. I understand it's a public park today. No more fire, no more worms. Jesus was warning His hearers of the coming judgement that was to fall on Jerusalem in a few decades (AD 70), when about a million dead Jewish bodies would be cast into Gehenna by the conquering Roman armies.

Wow! What an uplifting message of hope and good news. The gospel means "good news."
    Here's the good news:
You can go to Heaven if you believe on Jesus and live in bliss for eternity. The rest of the good news is this:
Your deceased heathen Father, Mother sister brother daughter son grandfather grandmother and cousins are all right now, this very second suffering the most excruciating pain ever imaginable by being burned and tortured without a drop of water, because they are cursed by God for ever and ever and ever without one second of respite for ever and ever.
Isn't that such delightful good news............... NOT
This is rank heresy. Repent of this Satanic teaching.
Isaiah 26;9 clearly says that when God's judgements are in the earth the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
    How bout them apples?
    Did you get that??
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Nah! That can't be true. How are the inhabitants of the world going to learn righteousness while gnashing their teeth in hell. Oh Lord, talk about contradictions.
