@@michaelpoapst9465 Tyndale may not have fully understood that the bible does not support a Trinity doctrine. In fact the 88 scholars who King James assembled to make his translation (the 1611 King James version) ironically all 88 scholars Fully knew well that the bible doesn't teach or support the Trinity. No single verse exists to support it. Despite that one fact, all those scholars chose to be swayed by their Theological bias and went along with inserting a verse or modifying words in the King James version to support the unscriptural False teaching of the Trinity because King James was an Trinitarian himself. Jesus never publicly declared that he was God Almighty. He only said that he was the "Son of God" - John 10:36.

Very interesting I recently visited Tyndale’s home village at stinchcombe, and melksham court, hoping to find a plaque or something to remind people of such a wonderful Christian man but unfortunately there was nothing to remind people of his life, I think England has returned to a period prior to 1494 shame, when you visit the outskirts of Shrewsbury there’s lots of signs to say “birthplace of Charles Darwin, how sad, thank you for the wonderful lecture.

William Tyndale was born in the small town of North Nibley -- near the Welsh border. I visited there in 2013. There is a large monument to him, and the owners of the town's only bed and breakfast are thrilled when anyone from "across the pond" comes to visit them and honor Mr. Tyndale. There is also a large statue of WT in London, in front of the Horse Guards Hotel in the large garden area. In Vilvoorde, Belgium, just outside Brussels, where Mr. Tyndale died, there is a large monument on the very spot where he was burned at the stake. The monument is easy to get to by train from the main Brussels train station. I saw it also in 2013.

This is amazing!!! History is so important! Oh how weak are the men of today that we do not make the decisive moves to further Gods kingdom as we are commanded. Oh how we do not study the word in the way that would honor God in the way that Tyndale's life did. Men... yes the Males of our world need to stand up and seek after God. We MUST teach our children the word of God. We need Men who preach Christ! Stop preaching denominations Preach Jesus Christ!!! Men Study the scriptures and know what God says through the bible not through feelings but through his holy word. Women... We need mothers, sisters and Wives and single women who go out and share the gospel with everyone they meet. Teach each other the word and grow in the Lord.

Amen. We have spiritual malnutrition in our churches and the pulpits are being taken over by apostates who do not know the Bible and don't care about hungry souls. We need a Revival across our lands and across the world.

I cannot imagine what it must have been like to live in a daily reality where translating the Bible into English would have been considered a bad thing among professing Christians. (Obviously the key word is, "professing.")
Do we know of any writings by any of the people who helped in the work? Those who helped print, assemble, transport, distribute etc.? Or from any of the people who were blessed enough to get their hands on one of these Bibles? It would be fascinating to see a bit of how God worked in all these situations and people's lives! It's all so amazing!

    38:20
"And the ship that he is on is is overtaken with a horrible storm so overpowering that the ship that Tyndale is on goes down, suffers shipwreck. And with that all of Tyndale's books, dictionaries, study tools, and, yes, the first five books of the Old Testament go down to the bottom of the sea."
How horrible! That would have crushed me. Of course I would have assumed this was God telling me to stop! Decisions like these torment me. If I was in such a situation, how would I know that God wanted me to continue? Even people who generally don't believe in God call storms and other natural disasters "acts of God." Wouldn't he have assumed this was God telling him to stop? Whatever his spiritual maturity, this had to have been discouraging! Imagine writing all of this BY HAND and losing it all! No computer backups. How did he process such a devastating loss? He was still a human being. It had to have affected him. And why would God send a storm and destroy all his work if He didn't mean for him to stop? How did he know what to do?
