- How to spot a fake S23 Ultra. There's a number of these fake phones circulating now. Make sure that even if it's a sealed phone you review my comparison of the real and fake phones. Even then to avoid being scammed always ask for the device to be opened to check first. Never go meet someone and pay cash. Fake s23 ultra phones are hard to spot and look real. The IMEI can check out legitimate and the phone can still be a fake counterfeit phone so you cannot verify it is real by the IMEI. Be careful buying phones online. Always check before you purchase

Quickest way to know if it is real or fake is just look for the IMEI number. That's for any phone. If your phone doesn't have a IMEI number or has a fake IMEI that matches a different model then that is your red flag. Also, Great video! Thanks for looking out for all of us!
Bro, there are ways to change the imei. I changed my S23 because I factory unlocked it

I have a real one and it has that seal you said the fake one has, is it possible you swapped the boxes?
4:46 this "square print" is actually a protective foil you can peel off.
You can try to push into the "camera glass" on the fake one, it should be possible to bend it it, which is not possible on the real one.
U kinda need to clean the real one😅😅

That's not a square print around the bottom holes...you simply never removed the protective film from the bottom of the phone.

You said the real one has a serial number underneath the Samsung logo on the back, then in the next example the one you say is real, doesn't have the serial number underneath.... So what is it????!!!!

The bottom of the real s 23 has a plastic protector you can peel it off when the phone is new it comes all around the phone I actually bought mine last week beautiful phone 😅
was looking for a s23 ultra on facebook marketplace recently and i noticed the abundance of fakes on there, i noticed the thing with the top and bottom seals and the lack of info on the back of the box, as well as i've seen at least one that was shrinkwrapped, something else i've noticed on the fakes is on the bottom of the fake box they'll have the wording "ROM" to denote the storage size, whereas the real one does not use that word, and the fakes will also have "made in vietnam" printed on them, i have a real galaxy a52 5g that is made in vietnam so i guess some are/were made there but as far as i know their flagships should all be made in korea.
seeing as they didn't seem to try too hard with the fit and finish of the os i'd assume there isn't a dialer code for the samsung diagnostic menu, all samsungs have a dial code *#0*# which opens a diagnostic menu so you can test individiual features.
i ended up buying one off swappa, since i wanted a 1tb model

Box stickers , writing on the front, color of Samsung on the phone . Samsung never have plastic stickers on the side of a badly made box, the writing in the box is always made with foil. Right one totally fake. Samsung has its stickers at the top and bottom just like apple. The inside of the box as well.

I think the telecom company from where I bought my phone packed original phone in fake phone's box😂 Cuz the box was sealed just like fake phone in this video but there are many things which real phone(according to this video)has.
