Personally, I had quite a few experiences in grade 6 and and I constantly chased after trying to be their friends and tried being popular until I finally got some common sense into myself. I made a really small friend group of 3, most people might say "trios dont work" yes sometimes they dont, the trio I had in grade 6 was NOT healthy at all but as I got into grade 7 I had another trio, I got more comfortable around them and I remember this time in grade 7 or 8? But one of my friend couldn't say no I eventually taught her to say no but when one of the mean girls asked her for money, she gave it and when she wouldnt return it, the other person and I went up to her and confronted her and we got really serious and she eventually gave it back but FROM THAT DAY, she STILL BACKBITES us. The trio has been really healthy and strong till this day though, even into highschool and Im glad! Moral of the stroy is NEVER chase after these mean girls beacuse trust me there are always some people going through the same as you and you will want to just go up to them and form an amazing and healthy friendship.
I am a homeschooled middle school girls Surrounded by a lot of people my age who are. So I mean. Even before I was homeschooled in elementary kids were also just mean. My best friend invited EVERY middle school girl at my theater studio to come to her birthday party. And she is just very kind. People talk behind my best friend’s back saying she looks like a mean girl and stuff but she is the most genuine girl I know. My other bestie doesn’t have a LOT of friends that are girls it mostly just my friend group and some people from her school. ❤ I love the way you spoke up. It took me 4 years to find a friend group where I feel loved and heard

I've gone through experiences like this before. Don't get me wrong, I'm really thankful for the spot I'm in now where I can trust my friends and feel supported. Although, the truth is, that 95% of time, if you don't have many friends or none at all, people are not gonna want to be friends w u. And if you're not popular, then the friends you want are not gonna be too interested in u. There was a period of time where I didn't have friends for a few months back in middle school, and I remember being so embarrassed if people found out I didnt have many friends. And toast, what you're saying about it's better having fewer friends that care about you rather than a big fake friend group is so true. In middle school, for a short time I went through a phase ''friends are overrated'' which is so not true, but guys if you're not popular that doesn't matter. What matters is that you have a few good friends or a good friend group, or even if you don't have friends thats okay too. I also do my part of including people in my classes, like being friends with new girls who are new to the school. Toast, thank you for reminding me that other people go through this. Fyi, I get it, a lot of middle school girls are mean except when you are their friend, but not all of them are mean, they can also be kind. thank you for reading ❤
I was with a friend group for SO LONG like pretty much half of the year and keep in mind the girls in this group weren’t like those popular girls because it wasn’t that kind of school, it was the opposite but there was still mean girls. Anyways, I was overreacting and thinking to myself that people don’t care about me because I got “left out” I didn’t my mind was just weird, anyways my friend group was very toxic and it wasn’t rlly a friend group because people just randomly decided to hang out with 2 people or just hang out alone, it was rlly weird lol

I have only like 1 friend she’s the kindest person ever she doesn’t wear makeup or anything she is the sweetest person I ever met she understands me about everything I say she is the only kind person I know and love plus she doesn’t gossip and stuff ❤

Ik im Late (😭) but I can completely relate!!! I found out My “bsf” talked bad abt me and thought I was annoying, and basically I only have one other friend at school, but she’s only there for half a day for 2days a week, so every time I have to pick a partner for like a project or sm I’d try not to cry (I’m emotional lol) uhm ya that’s my awesome life ig- but I’m sorry u had to go through that, even if 95 percent of the population has gobs though it! U of all ppl shouldn’t have had that experience

That's why I never go to the bathrooms, I keep hearing girls screaming in the bathrooms and throwing water. Also sometimes the girls lock boys in the girls bathroom.

Right off the bat after looking at the title, I can confirm that this is true CAUSE IM QUITE LITERALLY IN 8TH GRADE, half way into the video, I can also confirm that I’m part of the 95% of the population that thinks that no one likes me for who I am, which I know is not true because I’m friends with so many people and I’m honestly thankful for each and every one of them, and about girls saying mean things to other girls, I SWEAR THIS ONE GIRL WHO I HAVE HISTORY WITH SEEMS VERY MUCH LIKE A RUDE RAT TO ME, basically, before the start of this year, we kinda dmed each other on Instagram and she seemed nice, but then one day in history when we did a group activity, she goes “aReN’t YoU tHe GiRl WiTh ThE rObLoX pFp 🤓” (cause at the time my Instagram pfp was a gfx of my avatar) AND AT THAT POINT I WAS LIKE GIRL- CAUSE SHE HAD SAID THAT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER TWO PEOPLE AND THEY WERE BOYS, so yk what I simply responded with?? Just a simple, kinda dry “Uhhh yeah??” AND THEN I JUDT FELT DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE SHE HAD SEEMED SO NICE WHEN I MESSAGED HER BUT RIGHT THEN AND THERE IT SOUNDED LIKE SHE WAS MAKING FUN OF ME, not to mention the whole thing with girls on Instagram or Snapchat being like “fun day!!” and with pictures of the girl best friends that is also true because I see it so much
