Lessons to learn from the Bailey Kroone-Haiden Deegan RedBud crash | Title 24 | Motorsports on NBC

Quit paying flaggers hot dogs for the day.
Flagger was a paid AMA official .
I bet that felt good to say, even though it's untrue. Congrats!
2:04 2:04 is 2:04
Excuses, excuses. Ive been a flagger you have to pay attention to the blind landing. Its your most important job. Always have your yellow in hand. Not worry about your fuckin blue.
The caution flaggers (yellow flags) do not have blue flags...only yellow. The Wheels on the Ground Flaggers, have the blue flags and Medical Flags but NO YELLOW. Red Bud pays the flaggers with a swag bag of junk nobody would even want. I have flagged and I have seen flaggers leave during the race and go to the port-a-potty, (crazy) and I have seen flaggers sleeping and have to be woke up. This was seen by officials and nothing was done. At other Nationals they will pay you and that is where I flag.
Teams take control protect your Entertainers they have Family's. Make changes.
Sounds like excuses for not using only professionals
Flagger was a paid AMA official.
@@bradsanders6954being paid doesn’t make you a professional
@@bradsanders6954what flagging college did this paid ama official go to 😂
@@bradsanders6954 no he wasn’t he ran in there
I’ll be clear for the slow people they need flaggers that are paid and at every race not guys that volunteer and get in for free and are just happy to be that close to the riders
The title of this post is "lessons to learn" I didn't hear Coombs state what lessons were learned I heard him make a bunch of excuses. The difference between this and the car wreck that you see coming and can't do anything is this has been coming for a long time and MX sports has failed over and over to correct it and its going to take a fatality before they do something about it. Greed is the cause.
Okay let’s just say that the flagger did put out the yellow. would it have mattered? Haiden would have already been committed to the jump and likely wouldn’t have been able to check up on time. Like Brian said it sucks but that’s motocross.
Davey is a professional at giving B.S
I will truly enjoy an outro that is not a Lee Diffey haircut
He's just 🤓
stop making excuses for coombs orginization not using properly trained flaggers. ridiculous.
Flagger was a trained paid AMA official. Comprehension is horrible on youtube.
Ridiculous.
@@bradsanders6954 Thats what what makes this excuse even worse, even AMA officials can't do their job. Get it right AMA, before some gets killed.
im going to put it out there, Baja Acres in Millington Michigan puts on a better and safer event than any pro motocross race anytime, any weekend.
There is a lot to learn, yes i ĺearned it 20yrs ago and it is still the same today and the same crap continues to happen
There he goes again, Davey making excuses. There was a yellow flagger on the landing just starring at the down lapper. Then Deegan fell and he STILL DIDN’T wave the yellow flag. This isn’t right not to pay professional flagger you cheapskates.
They just said, the flagger on the landing is looking down the track at the corner.
How would a yellow flag during landing help Deegan?
@@bradsanders6954it was a straight away after the landing. Not much to look out for in that area . And the dummy on the jump was waiving a blue flag
Make the yellow lights wirelessly operated and put 3 people in a trailer somewhere with 15 monitors watching for a crash who can quickly throw the switch to the caution lights?
Those would. Be worse
AMA on cares about money not safety!
The answer is MyLaps Race Control that triggers the lights automatically.
Pay the flaggers
All greedy Davey is saying, is i'm not paying money for flaggers. He needs to squeeze every dollar he can for his family and circle of moto peeps to live the high life, at the expense of riders.
He's been doing it for decades right in front of everybody. Douche 🙄
This crap has been going on forever. But when the Golden Boy of the sport almost gets taken out, now all of a sudden it's front and center.
The guy with blue flag could not possibly see the crash! Modern tech should have warning lights like road races.
Everything he said was true, but we got to do better
Lesson learned: hire permanent flaggers.
So the yellow flag didn’t come because the flagger was also failing at blue flagging as Hunter mentioned, got it.
Pathetic excuses, Marchbanks got injured at Pala due to the terrible flagging and missed the first few rounds, more riders will get hurt unless they get good flaggers
GOLDEN BOY Goes down NOW of a sudden we need better flaggers😂🫡
how about a flag in each hand
Promoters and/or track owners and/or the AMA are guilty of NOT RESPECTING THE LIVES of the racers. Goddamnit, hire a PROFESSIONAL TEAM of flaggers to travel with the series!!! Don't tell us you don't have the money. You know...that money that is spilling out of your pockets?!?!!?!
So the response is>>> Nothing will be done.. Pathetic excuses......
If this exact crash happened to anyone else beside Deegan and maybe Jett, this wouldn't have even got a sniff of attention. The fact it was Deegan, every is looking to place "blame" somewhere. It was a crash! They happen all the time in motocross. Get on with it.
Not true
Stop lying
Is that the same spot where Alessi went down and got ran over by several bikes?
I flagged for ama supercross at Pontiac 1995, we had to buy our own white outfit, the ama gave us leftover event t shirts, how do I know because they were all size medium, at the end of night, no training to speak of, a joke.
politician
Haiden should of paid more attention. No one else crashed on the lapped riders bike.
did you just get off a short bus...
the jump has a Blind Landing...
Stop
we can hear you never ride on motorcross track before
Could you have given a worse response?
Of course you would say something like that.
