PlayStation Access For me it’s probably 2 3 1 4 5. Though the first three are interchangeable depending on how I feel, as the first three are just so good.
Me too. That pronunciation of 'valor' though...va-LOR as opposed to VAL-or, though that might culture thing; we Americans and all. Just to make sure it's clear: I'm used to hearing it pronounced the latter way while Rob used the former in the video.
If only they didn't bother with that real time strategy part of it. For me at least those fights where such sticking points. Other then that it is one of the few unique gaming worlds that I wish would show up more.
Oh Rob if you love the movies wait until your daughter is old enough to enjoy them. I'm showing my kids them for the first time and it's amazing. They're 3 and 7 and basically love them. Tried to name the cat Harry Potter and they are wanting to trick or treat as hermine and Harry for Halloween this year. It's the only thing that's equal to enjoying them for the first time myself.
1, 4, 2, 3, 5 Everyone whinges about the endless cutscenes in 4. I loved them. Made the game feel like a hybrid between a game and a very long film. Cutscene starts - pop the control pad, grab popcorn, enjoy.
For me, MGS2 is my favorite MGS. Still haven't seen rain effects so good in any game, the close attention to detail, like slipping on bird poop, or looking up to see it fall on your face, spraying roaches with coolant lol
Driveclub and Uncharted 4 took rain to the next level though... But Mgs 2 is still impressive! Like the bottles that had multiple ways of breaking apart when you shoot at it
Mine is Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Those controls are frustrating to no end, but the amount of nostalgia combined with the game's AMAZING soundtrack make me love it.
I would immediately buy a Legend of Dragoon remake, remaster or even just re-release on PS4. And I agree wholeheartedly Rob the additions during combat were amazing they were so unique. Dragoon transformations were unlike anything ever seen before. And even the characters were cool. Well...some were. I like the guy who wears purple and would use nunchucks. I can’t remember his name but he was a martial artist. The game deserves more love than it gets in my opinion. I may even get the playstation Classic if it has Legend of the Dragoon on it especially since I foolishly traded in my PS3 and Vita.
That guy in the purple was Haschel. Once Lavitz got replaced by Albert (an actually INFERIOR character), I stopped using the Green Dragoon at all. Same with Miranda. Technically stronger than Shana but holy god was she annoying.
KageAkarui yeah I must have remembered that part about the nunchucks wrong, my mistake. I do remember him using thunder as his element though, and just overall being awesome.
My pick would be The Godfather: The Game. I knew that it didn't hold a candle on other open world games like GTA but I still loved it anyway! Driving/shooting/blowing stuff up in New York while that soundtrack was playing were some of the most memorable moments of my childhood.
That series were way better than it should be legally allowed to be. Fantastic license games of an exceptional film trilogy and hardly any talks about them. Better pick than any of Rob's, even though his weren't bad.
Thank you for mentioning that its called Hedwigs Theme! Oh man, you're missing out on Jade Caccoon 1, hope you get a chance to play it. OMG DRAGON VALOR! Yes, loved that game and dont know anyone else who played it. It was such a great game. Legend of Dragoon will always be one of my fav games, still have my original copy and refuse to part with it. Remake please!!! Hopefully I'll return to KCD, the lock picking put me off. Naked sneaky Raiden got me in trouble with my dad. He walked in as I was playing that scene. And also THANK YOU for that mini impression at the end of MGS rankers XD
I would love a Legend of Dragoon remake/remaster. That was one of my favorite games when I was younger. I replayed it on PS3 a couple years ago and it's still so good. Another game that I enjoyed probably too much was Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (I remember playing it in the original xbox, but I don't know if it was available for any other system). It was the console version of an arcade game that I played way too much, but it was just so much fun.
I love the legend of dragoon! It’s my favorite ps1 game EVER! I wish more liked it...the additions and dragoons were the beeest. As for mgs games, my favorites in order from best to worst is 3, 2, 4, 1, 5
My guilty pleasure Legend of Legaia on the PS1, such a good game! Great story, cool combat, great villains, bosses that really tested you, and a plot that just keeps you guessing. Oh I will play it again soon as I get a working PS1 again hah!
Thank you for mentioning jade cocoon 2. Also one of my all time favorites. I still remember the main theme with the pan flute. If you never gave it try in ps1 i highly recommend getting your hands on a copy of brave fencer musashi.
Dude, Rob you basically relived my whole childhood with this video. Legend of the Dragoon remake/sequel yes please. If it ever happens I will be like one of the first in line to get it with you! And I loved the little dont @ me at the end of the video. And I loved completing sorcerer's/philosopher's stone when it came out! Jade Cacoon would be so cool getting a third, and Kingdom come deliverence was super underated, very true.
Legend of Dragoon a '100 hour epic'..... my clock stopped counting at 999:99 lol..... but then I grinded *everything*. I had every addition, every good weapon, did all the side stuff (Faust was awesome), had all the dragoon attacks..... It was literally my favorite game until I was introduced to Fallout and Skyrim (yes I skipped Morrowind and Oblivion, because when I first played them I was on console and I absolutely sucked at them, I have grown to love them on pc since)
Dragon Valor brings so many memories... Volef and his return and the branching paths... Personally a game I still love way too much is Digimon 2 for the PSOne. Had a bit of the Jade Cocoon monster mix but modifying the DigiBeetle took me way more into it than it was healthy... Plus I just like team turn based combat.
I love Rob's not-so-subtle dig at the Fantastic Beasts movies. Especially as I agree. And now I will forever have Hedwig's Theme both stuck in my head, and I'll play it when I hit the piano every single time and annoy my mum to death.
+Jennifer Hyde Technically all movies are unnecessary. Their existence isn't necessary, but we like them anyway. People need to re-learn how to just sit back and enjoy things again.
@@Halloweenman33 That is true, entertainment is not necessary to survival. "Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art...It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival."-C.S. Lewis
I liked Legend of Dragoon more than FF7, so I was happy to see it listed. As for Metal Gear Solid 2, that's the first entry I played in the series, and still love it today. It's not my favorite one in the series, that is 4, but it's not last either. Great vid this week!
4 is my favorite as well. Not sure if people are just edgy-reviewers but I never see 4 as someone's number one. MGS1 was my first metal gear game but the scale and conclusion of 4 was just so incredible.
I know I’m really late here, but my personal favorite is the .Hack series. The original IMOQ and the G.U. series are my life! Played both series too many times to count!
2Day, Oct. 15th, 2018 i finally bought my very 1st brand new PS4 slim (1TB) @ my local GameStop!!!! I still have my PS3 slim!!! I also bought along w/my PS4 the games Horizon Zero Dawn complete edition & Uncharted the Nathan Drake collection!!!! The next 3 games I am buying r Assassin's Creed Syndicate (on my brother's request as he doesn't yet have a PS4), Mass Effect Andromeda deluxe edition & Uncharted 4 A Thief's End!!!! PlayStation is the BEST & ur channel ROCKS!!!! U r all Awesome, especially Rob & Hollie (Special Hey 2 u both)!!!! Keep powering on Access Team....ur the GR8est!!!!
I'm in college right now and for English 101, I have to write a rhetorical analysis about something that advertises something and how effective they are. I'm planning on writing about you guys because of your great writing and how much you love these games, to the point where almost everyone wants to go out and buy whatever your talking about. Thank you for your amazing videos and game on.
Another round of 'RPGs that I loved' Not a fan of RPGs myself but Rob's delivery makes it all so entertaining and I am constantly discovering many missed classics in my 20+ years of owning PS-whatevers. Literally my most favourite thing on You Tube, on-demand, streaming anything and never having to suffer a gaping between-season chasm of waiting. Rob, I don't know how you find the time, especially being a family man. I swear I spend more time watching Friday Features than I manage to find for gaming these days. How about a; '30-minutes before I should go to bed so something I can pickup and put down games-that-I loved' (probably been dun already?). Those little arcadey quick to learn but difficult to master types for us other family folks who take 3+ months to grind through Far Cry 4 3 years after it was released but need a quick fix before sleepy-time. Personally I am holding out for the HD remaster of Bombastic (aka Devil Dice II). There's a game that really made your eyes bleed! I swear I saw it being played on a console for a PS4 promo video a few years ago. So why are we still waiting|? Rob, go find it and tell me when I can get my hands on it again or do I really have to go down Cash Converters and buy back my old PS2?
Rob, stumbled across one of your videos a while back. Love your style. Watched lots more. Started to lust after games that were only available on PlayStation. It's now a few months later and you've finally managed to break down my PC-centric gaming bias. My new PS4 Pro and VR kit have been consuming all of my time for the past week. It's all your fault! Thanks for sucking me into PlayStation world!
Astro Bot is adorable! Love it. I got it packaged with Moss so I've been playing it a bit too. I had to pick up Skyrim VR since I've spent so many hours on the PC version. Since I loved Ni No Kuni II on the PC, I'm playing the first Ni No Kuni through PS Now. I have Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Persona 5 waiting to play but right now I'm majorly hooked on Horizon Zero Dawn. So many great games!
@@Synna454 so luckyyyyy... did you have to save up for a long time to get it?... or are you one of those extra lucky people with a great paying job?...
I actually consider 4 the worst out of all of the Metal Gear Solid games due to the fact that it focuses too much on being a movie, and then a game. All of the others have cinematic moments and a lot of talking, but they also try to balance out the gameplay. 4 instead tells you to sit down, shut up, and grab a bowl of popcorn because we're going hours now baby. I preferred 3 and 5 the most due to the flexibility and differences in gameplay. I never played 2 outside of the demo, of which I found it better than 1. So yeah I'd actually probably go: 3 5 2 1 4
I totally agree with Legend of Dragoon. As a hardcore JRPG fan, that one is definitely one of my childhood favorites. I particularly seem to remember enjoying the music.
JC1 is really, really short though. The flow of the game is dangerously addictive and the fusion system it had was actually leagues ahead of what 2 did... And the UK version had some monsters cut from the game.
Clearly this is a very personal list. So wouldn't expect a whole lot of agreement or disagreement. In no particular order. Mace---N64 Ogre battle-SN Liberty or death--SG Sim City--SN AVP extinction--PS2 Warcraft 2----PS2 Tecmo Bowl---N
MGS 2 came out when I was at collage and it was an EVENT. Every one was playing it and lunch time was MGS 2 discussion time. 'Did you know that you can do pull ups?' 'Have you tried shooting the birds?' 'I have this theory about Vamp'
Final Fantasy X-2. It copped so much hate, but I think it was an excellent game. Sure it's not as good as its predecessors, and sure it contains come cheesy songs, and story plotlines. Sure the coin minigame and blitzball were frustrating, and... well ok Brother's fascination with Luna was a bit creepy given they were cousins... but still, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Guilty pleasure right there... I just loved the more traditional fights and excellent job system, FF5 is my favorite so I got a real kick out of seeing that system updated and with modern graphics. To hell with that chapter where you just look through spheres, though...
I loved the 'level up' system where you select the skills (from those available for that job/class) that you want to learn. Takes me back to my FFIX days! I must admit, I think FFVII Is about the earliest FF I've played. Really enjoyed the series, though (Still on the fence with XV though)
Yeah, I get what you mean with XV, I played the demo and really enjoyed a lot of it... but the combat just doesn't do it for me. It feels like a stripped-down version of Kingdom Hearts' system (which I love to bits, sadly) - here's hoping that the FF7 remake won't use the same formula.
Absolutely! The story was good, but I wasn't too impressed with how much of the story was DLC (I wanted a Gilgamesh fight, lol), but I felt the game just let us down in other areas
My biggest problem with ffx-2 is that every time I try to play it I spend more time thinking about how it doesn't measure up to ffx than actually playing it. I wouldn't call it a bad game but id enjoy it significantly more if it were final fantasy 11 or a new ip all together that had a fully fleshed out world and characters.
I beat Dragon Valor countless of time, going through every possible generation and playable character, going through every possible options, getting all endings, and memorized all special and unique attack moves of every character. Good game, good game.
Gauntlet Legends & Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Two games full of endless waves of monsters, intimidating boss fights, items with awesome abilities and music that made your soul sing. God those games were amazing.
The Legend of Dragoon remake needs to happen. I'll Kickstart the hell out of it, I just want the ability to get frustrated at my inability to locate Stardusts in HD. As for games that I adored and no one remembers, how about Drakan 2: The Ancients' Gates? I think I got this thing for about $5 in a "please oh god take it away" bin at the game store, and it ate altogether too much of my life. You got to fly a dragon around! And do magic, and slash people with improbable weaponry, and have awesome mid-air battles with evil dragons, and have hilarious curbstomp battles with evil non-dragons! There was a villain with a really uncomfortable set of piercings! And there was a female protagonist! I could never find the first one, and the screenshots I'd seen looked like hot vomit anyway, but Drakan 2 hit my early-teen buttons hard enough that it passed my "will I be able to get over my embarrassment enough to write fanfiction about this" barrier. And now, no one knows what it is.
The Philosopher’s Stone movie does not start with “Hedwig’s Theme”, it’s “The Arrival of Baby Harry”. Seriously, Rob, and you call yourself a Harry Potter fan? Still love you, though.
1 series that I don't think many people have played (and it's criminal that it never came to be known very well) was Shadow Hearts for the PS2 (and Koudelka it's predecessor on PS1). I mean they are dark, gritty, rpg's that manage to be both timed and turn based with the Judgement Ring. They also had amazing chemistry between the characters (except for Shadow Hearts 3 probably why the series died after 3) but I just absolutely love their take on Historical Fiction in a lovecraft inspired occult series. So yeah lovecraftian, histroical, horror, jrpg that can appease both the real time and turn based fans. If you haven't already then you absolutely must play at the very least Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts Covenant. Koudelka plays very differently but is still good. As for From the New World well... if you've ever wanted to see an attempt at making lovecraft a comedy then by all means give it a go.
Finally someone is giving Ninja some love. I first played it on a demo disc that came with my PlayStation. After 20+ years, I finally bought the game. Haven’t beaten it because it’s too hard, but I finally got it!
*Sighs* Legend of Dragoon... someone borrowed it from me... and I never got my hands on it ever again and they telling me "I never borrowed it from you" ... maybe if I had gotten it back, I would not be as bad with reaction-stuff in games.
Yeah... and back then money was sparse... and having to actually import the game was not making it less costly ^^ But one of the first music tracks is one of my most loved bits of music.
Guardians crusade. It was a great ps1 rpg with a simple combat system, a colorful open world, and fantastic music. I played through at least a dozen times and I'll still play again given the chance
The Legend of Dragoon was always one of my favorite games... I still play it... although, not on a disc any more... but as data on my PS3... still, amazing game... they REALLY should have made a remake, or at least a sequel
Every week it's proven how similar Rob and I are. Your description of Legend of Dragoon every time you mention it is perfection. Get out of my head!!! REMAKE! REMAKE! REMAKE!
Rose from Dragoon was my first crush, before my little 7-year-old heart ever knew what a crush was or that girls could like girls 😂 I love this game and would sell my soul for a remake
Here’s my personal 7: *NBA Street Vol. 2 -The first game that let you play as 3 different versions of Michael Jordan **ShadowMan-This was a comic based game on N64 that was unique in story back before Mature game titles were numerous ***Full Throttle-this game was PC-Rom and it had a story that kept you playing but was not well known. ****The Bouncer-I can’t remember what else came out then but I remember some really big game overshadowed this one. *****GTA LCS & VCS-Most people did not play these because they were on PSPortable so they did not get as much recognition as the others but they were both great “pre dlc” titles ******Ready 2 Rumble Boxing-Goofy is an understatement who won us over with great advertising. *******Def Jam Vendetta & Fight For NY-Most people played this not because of the game but because of whom all was in in but looking back both were filled with great created characters (whom I wish came with backstories) rap stars and a pretty decent story
Rather than a sequel for Legend of Dragoon, I think I'd prefer a prequel. What happened during the Dragon Campaign? Id love to play throughout Emeror Diaz's liberation of humanity. I thought Legend of Dragoon's story was amazing, but I was always so curious about the Dragon campaign. I've played this game hundreds of times, thousands of hours. It was my first video game and I've loved it every time I've played it, I think I play it about once a year now.
The Legend of Dragoon is the reason I even finally got into JRPGs or RPGs as a whole. I remember playing it for hours at a time, day after day during junior high. It may not be the most polished JRPG nor have the most original story beats, but damnit it had style and grace all it's own. The addition system I feel is one of the most underrated combat mechanics in JRPG history, one I would love to see used more often. And that music, especially the game's main theme "If You Still Believe" , is just as classic in the PS1 game library as any Final Fantasy game of that time. Lucky for me the game's music is available on Spotify so i can listen to it whenever I want. SONY REMAKE OR REMASTER THIS GAME! Or hell give us a sequel whether it be a direct one or an anthology style one that has similar powers in different worlds or timelines separate from the original. I'd be fine either way. I just want more Legend of Dragoon.
The Legend of Dragoon was one of the two first games I ever bought with my own pocket money (the other being Final Fantasy 7, bought at the same time). I probably love it more than it deserves because of nostalgia, but I will *still* return and replay it on occasion because it draws me back in constantly. Remake, sequel, anything!
Another quality video rob! I loved MGS 2! I've still got the video (That's right a vhs) which came with a magazine showing the first 20 minutes of MGS 2, watched it on a loop until I got the game, Epic times!
There still hasn't been a game that uses realm shifting quite so brilliantly - literally all a remaster would need is updated graphics and less slippery platforming (think OG Tomb Raider vs. Anniversary)
You know what's funny? Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, Ninja Shadows Of Evil and Legend Of Dragoon are one of first ps1 games and console games I had ever played. So they all have a special place in my heart.
Have you ever played Legacy Of Kane in PS1? That's a game you can fall in love to. The lore... The story... The cinematics!!! And it had 2 endings. The sad thing was that you didn't have to play the game again. You just needed to play your last save, defeat the last boss and select the other ending. Talking about lost opportunities.
1 3 2 4 5. Fight me -Rob
Challenge accepted.
You sir.... are correct. I'm a proud 13245 believer.
But Rob, you forgot Peace Walker!
Anyway, it's 1 2 PW 3 5 4 for me.
PlayStation Access
For me it’s probably 2 3 1 4 5. Though the first three are interchangeable depending on how I feel, as the first three are just so good.
Peace walker 3 4 5 2 1
I love Rob’s delivery. Such a good story teller.
He certainly is. It is like listening to your cool Uncle talk about his adventures.
This is why to this day i only watch friday feature. Been watching for a long time every single week because i love Rob :D
Me too. That pronunciation of 'valor' though...va-LOR as opposed to VAL-or, though that might culture thing; we Americans and all. Just to make sure it's clear: I'm used to hearing it pronounced the latter way while Rob used the former in the video.
@Arruda I think so. Not a playstation guy at all but I love watching these just bc of him.
17:35 is the best drop the mic moment I’ve seen in years. The smugness, the confidence and the sheer balls to do it. Well done Rob...well done!
James Young a
Not to mention the background music while he said it. Well played Rob, well played.
Agree, loved all of this video
Perfect use of the background music to underscore his delivery too.
Brütal Legend. No matter how clunky and repetitive the gameplay was the setting and music made playing the game completely worth it.
Stephen Hightower one of my fav bargain buys
Agreed.
Indeed good sir
Yep, this is one of my favorite games ever, no matter how objectively, terribly repetitive it was.
That is Amazing you are an Awesome! person
I can’t wait for when I have kids and show them the Star Wars movies for the first time then Harry Potter
Same here! My ten year old just finished legend of dragoon!! These are amazing things to be able to share with the next generations
Michael Dennis I'm gonna let my kids watch the dark knight
The lord of the rings trilogy
The HP films
the godfather
And Jurassic park
thing about hp movies is that u can explain that they dont have smartphones because hogwarts magic dont allow, that dont let the movie age
Oh the things I would do for a Legend of Dragoon remaster. "...great things - terrible, yes, but great."
I would join that quest! The Legend of Dragoon remastered would be a dream.
Imagine a remake for legend of dragoon like they did for secret of mana. I'd buy the super-mega-ultimate-dragon-elite edition
I think it would be the Dragon Buster Edition, but yes. So much yes.
I would buy it day 1!
Yes please! I would even break my oath to skip a generation and buy a PS4...just for that
We gave Skyrim so much love and affection that it refuses to leave.
thank to god
It's like that one kid in class that you gave gum to and they just immediately think you're besties. But still gotta love Skyrim tho.
It helps that it's such a great game lol. That's one of those games that no matter how many times I play through it it never gets old
I prefer Oblivion more. Skyrim was never actually a thing for me.
You mean Harry Dhovakin and the Dragon of Time?
Harry Potter on the PS1. Bloody brilliant
bruh, the gbc rpg went hard you should check it out if youve never played it
Honestly my favourite HP game! In this case its 1, 3, 2, Quidditch World Cup, 5, 6, 4, 7
I had the PC version of Harry Potter 1.
God damn... I wish I could play that game again, because it was something magical.
The music in these games were also lovely
1, 4, 2, 3, 5
Everyone whinges about the endless cutscenes in 4. I loved them. Made the game feel like a hybrid between a game and a very long film. Cutscene starts - pop the control pad, grab popcorn, enjoy.
Hello, you’ve caught me dying laughing at the thumbnail of this video 😂😂😂
"Looks like a pie that Hasn't risen properly"
Nice picture of Hayride, guys (Caddicarus joke)
Hayride always makes people laugh
Didn't he call it Peasent Simulator 2018?
For me, MGS2 is my favorite MGS.

Whoa, technology!
X))) Kudos if you get the reference!
Those watermelons, though... they pretty much became a proto-meme in so many PS2 games after it was released.
LEGEND OF THE DRAGOON REMAKE!! REMAKE!! REMAKE!!
*REMAKE REMAKE REMAKE REMAKE REMAKE REMAKE* (never played the game) *REMAKE REMAKE REMAKE REMAKE*
Played that game for 1-2 hrs and forgot to come back to it, but I always yearned for it since.
REMAKE!! REMAKE!! REMAKE!!
i would love a remake
Definitely my favorite RPG game after all this years and I am someone who played a shitload of games the last 20 years!!!!
Legend of Dragoon Remake? Shut up and take my money. Can't wait to waste 400 hours looking for invisible stardust and mastering Double Slash again.
Mine is Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Those controls are frustrating to no end, but the amount of nostalgia combined with the game's AMAZING soundtrack make me love it.
JayfroC I actually was thinking of that game as I was watching this and was like ...”no way Rob or anyone will think of that one”
That's so weird I was actually playing that a couple of days ago I'm already 60% through
Damn man. you always know how to hit those nostalgia buttons. awesome look back
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for Gameboy. It was a final fantasy esqe rpg. And it's actually amazing for a movie tie in game.
TY for this. Might just try it!
I like the prisoner of Azkaban on gba it's a really fun turn based rpg
The first one for the GBC is also good.
"I got to find a save book" brothers response every times parents told him to get off. Haha
Wyvernblue I had the PS2 version and it’s my favourite of the games, the POA one second. Seriously the HP games need a remaster collection for PS4.

Rashon Burnett I would buy a PS4 just for this game. It deserves that much.
chronas9 I actually like Albert more than Lavitz. I'm sure I'm wrong, though.
“Hello, you’ve caught me-“
I love it every Friday feature I look forward to that intro.

At least a remaster for the "final fantasy killer".

Jade Cacoon would be so cool getting a third, and Kingdom come deliverence was super underated, very true.
That Harry Potter game, damn remembering that revived some brain cells that haven't worked in years
I hope Legend of Dragoon will be on the Playstation Classic Console.
I'd be happy if they just put it in the ps clasics in the ps store for the ps4 or I guess ps5, since ps5 is on the horizon.
Unlikely, since it's a 4-discer and FF7 is already confirmed :( it'd take up precious memory.
Personally, I'd be happy with an RPG only edition...
i don't see why not. isn't it published by SCEA. no licensing payment required.
I don't know about ps4 but it is on the e store for ps3. Really cheap too.
I still have all four original discs in perfect working order and the instruction book that came with it. Love the game.
I loved "Legend of Dragoon" I fell in love with the story and the transformations were cool and also the magic attacks. Additions were fun for me.
Legend of Dragoon a '100 hour epic'..... my clock stopped counting at 999:99 lol..... but then I grinded *everything*. I had every addition, every good weapon, did all the side stuff (Faust was awesome), had all the dragoon attacks..... It was literally my favorite game until I was introduced to Fallout and Skyrim (yes I skipped Morrowind and Oblivion, because when I first played them I was on console and I absolutely sucked at them, I have grown to love them on pc since)
Right I played that game repeatedly from Christmas 1999 to last summer lol about ready for another round
For every word you just said, same
A friend recommended Legend of Dragoon to me, back in the day, and I absolutely loved it!
I would LOVE a remake of Legend of Dragoon! I really wish they would at least remaster it.
I heard that it's an interesting game
The story and game play are very interesting, sadly the graphics did not age well.
Legend of Dragoon is probably one of the most underrated, fantastic games I've ever played.
Legend of Dragoon is one of my all time favorites. The combat was awesome.
I love Rob's not-so-subtle dig at the Fantastic Beasts movies. Especially as I agree. And now I will forever have Hedwig's Theme both stuck in my head, and I'll play it when I hit the piano every single time and annoy my mum to death.
Hey the second one looks cool
@@venkatsrinivasan3714 It looks cool, it's just unnecessary.
@@polarbearicequeen I mean the next generation does require a little bit of that wizarding world

Technically all movies are unnecessary.
@@mekverseedits for me it's the guns (M82A2 is so fun) and I think they did a perfect job of wrapping it up.
Once Playstation backwards compatibility is ready, these Friday Features will double in views.
Oh man stop teasing
Wait what? I have a feeling this is BS
*heads to google*
I know I’m really late here, but my personal favorite is the .Hack series. The original IMOQ and the G.U. series are my life! Played both series too many times to count!
I've bought them all over again to replay on my PS2. Cannot go wrong with the .hack games

0:57 Watching Friday Features on a playlist...
Yes
Rob, go find it and tell me when I can get my hands on it again or do I really have to go down Cash Converters and buy back my old PS2?
legend of dragoon is so good i still own it and play it every few years
Who in their right mind would dislike a video before even having the time to watch the whole thing?
Ryan Rothrock haters
diehard harry potter fans 😂

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them?
Delsin Rodent
A remember Ninja Shadow of Darkness.. loved it.. and that intro too.. great game!
I played the demo a LOT with my brother back in the day, we pretend the character was coming back from school and get bullied.
Welcome to the family! What games are you playing? If you've just got a PSVR you really have to check out Astro Bot! -Rob
"A kind letterbox" 😂
I loved Jade Cocoon 2, seriously underrated!
Another excellent video from Rob PS 2 3 1 4 5 😂😂
I actually consider 4 the worst out of all of the Metal Gear Solid games due to the fact that it focuses too much on being a movie, and then a game.
All of the others have cinematic moments and a lot of talking, but they also try to balance out the gameplay. 4 instead tells you to sit down, shut up, and grab a bowl of popcorn because we're going hours now baby.
I preferred 3 and 5 the most due to the flexibility and differences in gameplay. I never played 2 outside of the demo, of which I found it better than 1.
So yeah I'd actually probably go: 3 5 2 1 4
2 is never the best but no where near last
@@ArlanKels you should play MGS 2
Due to 5's chapter 2. I can't in good conscious put it in the top 3 so.
1, 3, 2, 5, 4. Your list is almost the same as mine Rob.
I actually started my Harry Potter marathon again last night. 1 movie down, 7 to go.
Tevfik N what's your favorite? Mine is Prisoner of Azkaban:)
I'd have to add the PS1 Star Wars: The Phantom Menace game to my list!
As bad as it may have been to most, that was the KotOR to my childhood 😆
Legend of dragoon remaster would be good enough for me. Just let me relive the awesomeness again. Also I'd like to finish it for once.
Omg you never finished it ughhh its the best game ever made
I totally agree with Legend of Dragoon. As a hardcore JRPG fan, that one is definitely one of my childhood favorites. I particularly seem to remember enjoying the music.
*record scratch* You never played Jade Cocoon 1? For shame, Robert! For shame!
Absolute shocker
Do you have an idea where to get a good copy? And not for nightmare prices.
JC1 is really, really short though. The flow of the game is dangerously addictive and the fusion system it had was actually leagues ahead of what 2 did... And the UK version had some monsters cut from the game.
I would be happy if they did a Legend of Dragoon remake!
Legend of dragoon remake or sequel I’d be happy with either.
Clearly this is a very personal list. So wouldn't expect a whole lot of agreement or disagreement. In no particular order.
Mace---N64
Ogre battle-SN
Liberty or death--SG
Sim City--SN
AVP extinction--PS2
Warcraft 2----PS2
Tecmo Bowl---N
MGS 2 came out when I was at collage and it was an EVENT. Every one was playing it and lunch time was MGS 2 discussion time. 'Did you know that you can do pull ups?' 'Have you tried shooting the birds?' 'I have this theory about Vamp'
Remake remake remake!
I get all giddy every time Legend of Dragoon makes a list.
Kimberly Dietz same
Everything you say sounds sensual but yes we need a legend of dragoon remake
Boy do I agree on Legend of Dragoon. It was my introduction to JRPGs and I still have a blast playing it about once a year!
I loved legend of the dragoon! Never made it through the second disk tho lol kept having my save file erased.
"those graphics that look surprisingly good 17 years later." surprisingly yes.
LEGEND OF DRAGOON! LEGEND OF DRAGOON. CAN YOU IMAGINE DART AND CO. IN MODERN GSMING? Holy cow! SONY YA BETTER LISTEN HERE.
LEGEND OF DRAGOON!!
Gauntlet Legends & Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Two games full of endless waves of monsters, intimidating boss fights, items with awesome abilities and music that made your soul sing. God those games were amazing.
6:54 _"Seeding the code"_ is an incredibly accurate way of describing it from a programmer's perspective.
Legend of Dragoon is STILL one of my favourite JRPG. Incredible game! And in italy it had awful voice acting, which made it even funnier!
So they lost, broke or loved your game.
Yeah... and back then money was sparse... and having to actually import the game was not making it less costly ^^ But one of the first music tracks is one of my most loved bits of music.
Anyone else a fan of cool runnings
Hell yes....
You wanna kiss my egg?
LEGEND OF DRAGOON REMAKE!!!
Guardians crusade. It was a great ps1 rpg with a simple combat system, a colorful open world, and fantastic music. I played through at least a dozen times and I'll still play again given the chance
I've been looking for the name of Jade Cocoon 2 for maybe a decade at this point. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I was more of a meru fanboy. XD
Rose and shanna were my video game crushes
Ps I would sell my soul as well
Girl crushes are the strongest crushes because they're the cutest..
Unless you're both in prison and only one person knows of the crush...
Jedi Power battles PS1 for No.1.
Fight ME - random dude
I LOVE THAT GAME SO GODDAMN MUCH
Here’s my personal 7:
*NBA Street Vol. 2 -The first game that let you play as 3 different versions of Michael Jordan
**ShadowMan-This was a comic based game on N64 that was unique in story back before Mature game titles were numerous
***Full Throttle-this game was PC-Rom and it had a story that kept you playing but was not well known.
****The Bouncer-I can’t remember what else came out then but I remember some really big game overshadowed this one.
*****GTA LCS & VCS-Most people did not play these because they were on PSPortable so they did not get as much recognition as the others but they were both great “pre dlc” titles
******Ready 2 Rumble Boxing-Goofy is an understatement who won us over with great advertising.
Samara You, Samara, are in my head. Please make this happen!
Digimon World 2003 for PS1, will forever be one of my favorite games
Remake! Remake! Remake! Legend of Dragoon is top 5 PS1 games.
What about legacy of kain soul reaver? ❤
Soul Reaver deserved the apraise it got
Awesome game!
I still love that game. I wish for a remake in latest graphics ❤❤❤😍😍😍
There still hasn't been a game that uses realm shifting quite so brilliantly - literally all a remaster would need is updated graphics and less slippery platforming (think OG Tomb Raider vs. Anniversary)
I need more Legend of Dragoon!!!
