How did you get the holes through the dowels?

I used a wood drill bit, make sure to be gentle as you do it.

I know you said the length of your dowels weren't all the same, but what was the rough average of the length on them?

I can't actually remember, but measure the width of the drawer minus 2inches

I honestly don't know the size, I just went with what I saw that would work for me
