Fall run has started

Late August into September juvenile baitfish (peanut bunker) hatch and pour out of the river systems and harbors across Massachusetts. This corresponds with the southern migration of striped bass and bluefish back to their winter breeding grounds. The bait ignites inshore fishing in what is referred to as the Fall Run.
