@ابو لؤلؤة قاهر الكفار I mean if you’re a Christian or Jew you can still believe in the God of Abraham (I’m personally a Methodist, a denomination of Protestant Christians). Personally I’ve questioned my faith a lot over this pandemic, and I feel like I’ve grown closer to God. In my church we believe in prevenient grace, or the grace God gives even without you knowing or wanting, generally the interpretation I subscribe to is that God will love and nurture you in heaven as long as you spend your life trying to better the lives of everyone around you even if you don’t necessarily fall into a stricter category of an Abrahamic Religion. (Meaning that everyone who strives to follow what they think God is telling them will get into heaven) But that’s just my admittedly biased take

Humans have a thinking to make more things to make everyones lives even easier, or just their own but get soceity to progress anyway. Saying that the entire human race would have been stuck in the same age if it weren't for just one person existing is purely idiotic. But he was, though her, able to get up in society, gain influence and at some point, she allowed him to be part of her business, but until her death, she was the one in control. Chadidscha is one of the central female figures in islam. Sure, for about 14 centuries, women in the muslim world suffered from huge injustice, but in its background, islam is much more pro equal rights than Christianity. Or jews, for that matter.

I love Cut. But I honestly don't believe that someone would take a stand on something so controversial - like saying publicly 'I don't think men and women deserve the same rights'. I admire the initiative and I love the video, but I don't think the results are trustworthy... An anonymous poll would give us more reliable results, in my opinion.

Sophia Wapelhorst That's true, Sophia. And there's another point there: maybe one believes in equal rights for men and women, but does not consider oneself feminist - because of the stigma this word carries. I know many women who say that: "I'm all for girl power, men and women should have equal salaries in the same position, but I'm not a feminist and I don't like feminists"... when feminist is about those things.

      hammad lali
      let us talk about that
everything in this universe has a beginning?
the big bang you may say but sceintists say the big bang is a reaction of something else
so that something is the main cause
but that something also needs a beginning
and we remain like that with no stop
      untill we get to god
      but then?
      what created god?
and what created the creator of god?
      these questions are flawed
and are flawed because of your understanding of god
which ends us with two possible explanations
      1-it created itself
which is stupid how can something create itself
2-its eternal and is outside of the creation which includes time
      back to what created god?
when you think of god what do you think?
      jesus?
      zeus?
an old man in the ssky?
      or perhaps the greek gods?
all these do not fit our criteria
since all of them are eeither created and dependant(need food air and water to live)
or are inside the realm of creation
and then you have the quran
the quran is a book written by an illetarate man
who can neither write or read
      1400 years ago
a man who has never written a single line of poetry in his life
and is called the truthful by his own enemies
and yet he created a book that no one was even close to being able to match its linguistic style
and the arabs were the best of poets at the time and they failed
and even with out current understanding and knowledge and technology
we still aren't able to even match a small part of it
its basicly perfect and inpossible to remake
and allegedly contains sceintific facts and miracles
so it has to be the word of this creator
      Allah
which the name itself fits our criteria of creator
and he shows us that he fits this criteria in surah al ikhlas(surah 112)
say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,(1)
      Allah, the Eternal Refuge.(2)
He neither begets nor is born,(3)
Nor is there to Him any equivalent."(4)

I think the problem lies in how feminism has turned into simply an advertising gimmick, misandrist women use feminism as an excuse to treat men badly now. The word feminism has ended up being surrounded by all this negative energy and so nobody wants to associate themselves with this warped version of feminism

I studied history, and when religuous nut bags were being ingorant they were burning people at the stake, beheading and stoning them to death. Please feel free to announce your athiest views in the middle East and see how long you live. History doesn't change because you chose to ignore what these people stand for. By the very definition athiest aren't inhernetly on the same page as religuous doctrines. Unequivocally there's never been a terrorist organisation that's athiest or that's occured as a result of their views relating to atheism.

Yes but religion typically shapes the person you become when all you know your whole life is Christian or Muslim. especially if religion is pushed pretty hard on you as a child. that's why stereo types exist! But as you grow older, gain experiences and knowledge you start to develop your own opinions and the ones the open their eyes really wide, start to question their own religion and start looking at other people's point of views.
