FIRST: you found such a beautiful Danish summer's day! THEN you filmed it so well. Finally, you showed viewers equipment and skills! My grandchildren are Native Americans: Chickasaws. Even in our Northeastern Indians, 'Dream Catchers' with feathers rather than feathers and bones, we appriciate part of their heritage. We use one...but they are NOT tourist items for us.

Tom👍👍 Native American Indians have made "dream catchers" similar to this for hundreds if not a thousand years, I don't know. They can be found in stores being so popular but only authentic native American hand made ones have the "magic" I'm told. I'll tell you Tom, you've gone all out on this one!!! Not just the editing and the pleasing aesthetic nature of your video, but you're giving the so-called academics on medieval history a run for their money! You do more for disseminating the relevant histories and practices of the expansionist nordic period with your narrative and demonstrations which you give to the public than do volumes of peer reviewed academic writings! Just fascinating! Also, the role of women in medieval societies is greatly understated and I'm glad to see you're venturing into setting the record straight. Of Note: The craftsmanship of your little cellphone bag is exquisite. Yes, this was thoroughly enjoyable and best of luck in your endeavors!
Addendum: Follow your heart! I personally enjoy the variety of what you do both modern and vintage. But I do think people enjoy histories brought to life. The American Natives make them round and decorated with Birds or Eaglefeathers and Woodenpearls they called Dream Catchers they was hanging in there Tipis where they sleep. The Net inside was made to catch the good Dreams and it was big enough that the Bad Dream can passed out of it.

Hello Tom , Nice little project that you made , it does look a little like a Dreamcatcher , as for the Flies , you could try my usual methods , Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus , or Citronella candles , I often use a Thermocell Burner , that works well , but is very modern looking , not very Viking ! , Be Well my Friend , Strength , Honour and Respect , Love also to the Family .🙂❤👍

Mr. Cimbrer if you eat several cloves of Garlic few days before going into the woods the mosquitoes, flies, and bees will leave you alone. I used to give 3 cloves of Garlic to my horses before going into the forest anf we had no flies and the horses did not get stung!

My boyfriend takes part in a medieval society here which includes a lot of Viking heritage. I find it fascinating although I am not that knowledgeable yet. Came across your videos while searching basket weaving and watched a Finnish tutorial on a weaved backpack out of birch bark. Your videos were suggested by CZcams to watch next. I watched 1 and have not been able to stop lol. I also love spending a lot of my time in nature hiking around in Canada. I am from Alberta, very close to the mountains and probably one of the most beautiful countries in the world. So lucky.
We made your apple fritters last night and I will be making bacon, onion, mushroom and cream stew tonight. Can’t wait! Give Cornelius a pat from the Western hemisphere, I don’t think my arms are long enough.

Ciboulette we call this onion-like herb, it gives the most beautiful purple flowers in the spring, very similar to les échalottes. They taste like onion and grow wild once their root is well protected 🧄

The updated spirit catcher is an improvement, nice job! Phone holder is also a really cool piece, engravings are fitting. I don't know how you could make videos any better. They're very entertaining, you cover a lot of subjects. You tube does unsubscribe people, very annoying but I always keep an eye on subs to make sure. Hope things get better.
