- My New bike! Finally, been a mission waiting for bikes to turn up in the country but I luckily scored this thing. Just finished putting on the Kraus risers and gauge set up. Looks absolutely wicked. Damn this thing is lumpy haha.
Beautiful bike congratulations, I would like to make the same change on mine but I have a doubt ...
With the 550 cams the bike remained drivable even in city contexts or with a passenger where you drive without running or has it become too nervous?

Yup. Cam, push rods, lifters, cam bearing, and valve springs. Valve springs needed with high lift cams

Nice scoot, risers look quality, did you go with the isolated kick back risers 10" or 12". Im 5.7" just wondering what might suit.
I’m 5.9 and I have the 12inch with kick back. Also thought it might be to tall for me but it actually feels really nice. I think 10inch would also be good

I’m coming from a rod myself to a potential Low rider s 117 & tossing up the 475 s&s cam.. would you say the 475 cam or the 550 cam?
I’m wanting it sound like a beast & be able to spin the rear tyre more then anything. I am gonna run 2-2 Radius pipes on it as well
Hey man!
Just in my opinion, I prefer the low rider over the v rod. Torque is out the gate and handles a lot better. Speaking about the cams, the 475 and the 550 are both good cams and they will both have a lumpy idle. Power and torque all depend on the setup you have so it can all vary quite a lot. 475 is the cheaper option because you wont need to touch the heads. For performance the 2-2 radius pipe is not a great option and gives gives average numbers on dyno :/ But some people dont mind :D

Just wondering bro. Was gna get same cam in my fxlrs and AHD said it would pull 128hp and 130 torque but you mentioned less hp?
It depends on your set up man. Initially I only had 124hp and 130tq. After I changed exhaust and intake along with afew other small things and then Re dyno I got 131hp and 136tq. Exhaust plays a huge part in what kind of power gains u will get
