Nice video but you did not remove one part. That is the part that broke on my pistol. The spring retention for the take down rod.

Yea he missed the the take down rod catch spring, i bought a 1910 and noticed it didn't come with it and trying to find one.

The slide stays open once the magazine is removed. How do you release it so you can take it off?

yea its showm false here you gotta slide the magazine back in, make sure its unloaded
