Freeze lemonade and then run it through that machine. Oh my gosh...
Jazzie Red yessssss
Jazzie Red oh yas
Jazzie Red Day the way you do it better you have to do a good day
Lapis Lazuli z the morning morning day Nguoi day was a better way
I’m confused. Someone explain this to me please without hate?
First two seems fine for generic snow cones. Definitely not for shaved ice. Thanks for the presentation.
Why tf am I craving Ice now
John Went you are low on some type of vitamin probably iron
🤦🏾♀️
John Went me 2!
Same it’s 3:00am I’ve been looking at shaved ice all night
Stoptheabuse now Hell no am a teenager and a virgin 😑
Covid got me searching for a shaved ice machine..who else is looking?love the review
It got me selling kakigori
How did you know
Same
Little Snowie Max is supposed to make almost snow like shaved ice
Craving Bingsu since I left Guam. No where in Oregon has it.
Who had the Snoopy snow cone machine?
+nousersnamesleft 😂👍👍
😂👏
✋
Me! It’s in our kitchen
lmao yes!
I wonder how difficult it'd be to mod the $23 one to make it less coarse.
I was wondering about replacing the crank with a drill attachment
true, if the only deciding factor that turns it from shaved ice to bingsu is the space in the blade then a modded first model would be the cheapest
it looks like the first machine has an adjustable blade just like the pricey model. so no need to mod, just an ability to RTFM
I'll try it when I get enough and I will give it to you if I can lol
@@pluc61 You are starting to sound like my husband. He was just saying that about another hand crank one.😀
Having just tried this dessert this past weekend, I can understand wanting a fluffy ice. I marveled at the delicate shaved ice in this dessert. I had a mango bingsul with a mango purée, tiny cheesecake bits and a scoop of vanilla on top. OH MY GAWD....SO DELICIOUS! I think I’m going to splurge....
p.s. I think the texture of shaved ice is like real snowflakes, and that delicate texture is what makes this dessert so DIVINE!
Thanks for sharing this Esther!!! Just bought one, I always wanted to make my own shaved ice like in stores, but all the ones I usually see don't create that awesome texture. You rock!
0:35 That one brings back memories of making "sno cones" for all the workers working in our fields, as a kid. They'd come over and plow or harvest and me and my brother would make sno cones for them. They were always so nice about it despite the fact that they probably sucked haha. We used way too much flavoring.
I found it funny the way she said “snowy and beautiful” than slammed it 😂😂😂 it’s like if she was telling the machine like you better do what I want 😂😂😂😂
Its so funny how she is so passionate about shaved ice😂 "crunchy , flakey , fluffy"
Like she is talkin about art or sum
Hahahaha :)
:D
food is art (●´ω`●)
Yes I love it when my art is fluffy and flaky
Yeah wow god forbid she has standards
Yes! Finally a review for snow ice!!! I've been looking for a snow machine for home, Ever since I came back from Thailand, bc snow ice cream is so yummy and refreshing and I never liked snow cones, it was always to cold on my teeth.
Thanks so much for the reviews on these machines. I've been trying to find the machine that makes the BINGSU style shaved ice too.
This is the best one why can’t I order this online?
I've heard that hand crank one is dependent on the pressure you apply so some people using really light pressure can make more delicate shaved ice. I really do wonder if there is a hand crank version that gets the right fluffy ice for bingsu... I really didn't want an electric one.
i have the $108 one in my house and that is the actually one of the cheapest one at around $30 bucks in Japan!
Michelle Tan SHIP IT OVAH
Do you have to use voltage transformer for this machine?
same here. I live in Japan and immediately went to amazon.com where it shows as $125 but on amazon.jp it shows as $30. I'm getting the one from amazon.jp. LOL!
Thank you! I thought I had seen this around town for waaaay cheaper than $100. Now I can go find it for my husband's bday gift.
Amber Marie its less than 30 😱 its 24.10 dollars 💵 😁
Just bought the machine you recommended. Freezing my milk+condensed milk mix now! Can't wait!
Just ordered the shaved ice machine that you recommend. Can’t wait to try it out.
I'm drooling 😋
I love soft ice, plain
Ah, this brought back found childhood memories of my ice shaving machine. Blue teddy bear that rolled its eyes with the hand crank.
The first ice machine ($23) was nostalgia to me, because when I was just a little I wanted to make some ice is to shaved ices for my desserts
Great review! Exactly what I was looking for
thank you for the review! What shaved ice syrup do you recommend?
I have a ninja and it makes the most awesome fluffy ice like pure snow. It's amazing and it it cost less than $30. And you can you use any kind of ice you want in the ninja.
1️⃣💜👸🏻
you can just add ice without liquid and it won't blow out the motor or dull the blades?
Yessss
What is the name.of the machine?
OnePurplePrincess same here, works excellent!
OnePurplePrincess can i get a video? We tried with regular cubes and it came out reaaaallly crunchy.
I put regular ice cubes into my Blendtec blender for snowed ice. It's pretty dang fluffy but not as fluffy as the last one.
Thanks for the info!
Art pure art as you can tell she is a great Ice artist
did she go to university for shaved ice?
I have the red one, if you use bigger pieces and press the handle lightly it comes out a lot more fluffy
I like the way she explains its features
Now I want that Japanese shave ice machine!!!
Shave ice here in hawaii uses any type of shaved ice. we aint picky here lolol
Hence why Korean shaved ice desserts are world famous... and Hawaiian shaved ice desserts aren't.
I had shaved ice in hawaii for the first time ever it was really nice
Ronan B Hawaiian shaved ice is more popular than Korean
i thought this was an ad and i was like damn this ad is long, and then i realized after 3 minutes thats its not lol
Esther can review the ice only without the machines and I'll still watch it =D
is the third one available in US? can someone share a link? thank you.
Short simple to the point but yet informative
You can make the blade space smaller to make finer snow like I did
For best results, you're suppose to "sweat" the ice. You slightly allow the ice to melt.
The Japanese machine is like $40-$50 in Japan. Either way you really should have a voltage converter for that machine as well to drop from 120V to 100V.
That last one is amazing. I kinda want one. You should put links on the video on where to get it.
It’S 108$
Thank you very much. I just bought the machine and as I don't know Japanese I was looking for the proper way to operate this machine. It is simply and looks as delicious as I thought. I am just thinking brazilian limonade frozen, horchata, jamaica, tamarind, watermelon, pineapple, endless fruits combinations frozen and shaved... OMG!!!
In our country u we put various fruit syrups like orange , blueberry, strawberry and the experience of the cold shaved ice with the syrups is just so beautiful and flavourful!!! I have got the one you brought for $23 in just $6.83 and it's brand new not even second hand!!!!
u jus sold me...i was debating if i really wanted to put tht kinda money in a machine I'll rarely use & yes i do lol
If you come to singapore you will see alot of the ice machine( the last one that she use) is every where in the coffe shop. we called it Ice Kachang.
As An Ice Eater I Must Say This Is Essential In The Kitchen💯💯🤗
“When YoU hit ThAt ChEw “! 😂
Because of this show I'm gonna run outta space in my kitchen, pantry and storage room!
Dude, where I live, you can literally find shaved ice everywhere. Especially in Hawker Centers.
Watching this made my mouth water 🤤
Where can u buy that last shaver at? The one you liked??
I searched up how to clean your trumpet cuz I was going to clean my trumpet and this popped up
that first one the hand cranked can do the fluffy ice you wanted its adjustable! you just adjust the blade for the finner shavings
*fluffy it needs to be fluffy*
*fluffy*
*fluffy*
Thanks a lot for sharing these ice shaving machines! Very good for making Filipino halo-halo too! ;)
I have an exam tomorrow and now I’m watching someone judge ice by its fluffiness.
Why am I watching someone test “fluffy ice?” 😂😂
I got the $108 one at a treasure hunting products place where everything is 5 dollars. It was my luckiest day!
The first one I used have one and I kinda miss it 😭
Hi and nice video. But may I know where can I buy the ice shaver that was used at last in the video. Thanks !
"That bite is worth it..." Nice
In hawaii we are really particular about shaved ice too and we also like it fluffy and not chunky but we had flavors i like mango and kiwi
MAN.......🤤🤤🤤🤤 I’m buying one.... Thank you for the video 💯😁😁😁😁💪🏼
Funny when she tasted the ice and said "No" I was like
Its ice...
Maybe I’ll just stick the Snoopy Sno Cone Machine
That was my jam when I was a kid. Snoopy for the win.
Nobody can win against the japanese machine if you want a fluffy texture like cotton candy on the ice but if you want just normal shaved ice meh... you can stick with the snoopy...
That shaved ice looks so delicious
Tip : a ninga blender works very well and the ice turns out very fluffy. And smooth im accully eating some right now 😇
maddie paddie lucky lol but thanks 😊
😁
Yess
Clicked on this by accident now I can’t stop watching
Hi, what brand is the best ice shaver ? I could not tell from your video
No link to products?
How did you guys get the milk ice thing?
Bingsu is sooooo good!!! Has anyone tried it before?
Hi. Can you share with us how do you make ng block of milky ice?
Hello, is that shaver recommended for business purpuses?
Do you allow the ice to defrost a little first? Also are there replacement Blades?
What did you use for the milk iceblocks? The ones that come with the machine arent big enough :///
Omg, I just ordered a small ice crusher off of Amazon. Why didn't I discover this earlier?
thanks for sharing this video. Iam looking to have Bingsu in my restaurant so this was perfect. Where can I get it ?
Same here! I would like to add it to the restaurant.
I would love to see you compare these machines to the new KitchenAid Ice Shaver accessory. It's quite compact and I'm wondering if I should get it compared to those other machines
Wow this woman know her facts about good shaved ice. It shouldn’t have any ice chunks. It’s should be fluffy like snow.
What is the name or link to buy the last product.
Hello, Baltimore here. Our 1950s snomaster and snokiss machines through out coarse shaved ice, almost like beads of ice. We like that here with egg custard and marshmallow🤷
What is the recipe for the milky looking cubes you shaved? Thanks!
you should try “Halo Halo” it’s a Filipino dessert that is used with shaved ice. U put milk, jelly, beans ube ice cream and a bunch of other stuff! It’s delicious
Chunky, fluffy, flakey? that's her way to passionate shaved ice 😂😂😂
I need one because I don't know where my snoopy snow cone machine is located.
There’s an actual Korean made bingsu machine. It’s just that I need a loan… for $6000. And that’s not including the converter it needs. Your review was so helpful!
Love this series! And Esther is great
Why does she talk like a white valley girl?
“I want shaved ice!”
5 seconds later
“I want it fluffy and I want *SNOW*
Just make snow then sis
You don't make snow. You wait for snow hahahaha
I bought one for $200 at Costco. It makes great slushies, blended coffee, and margaritas.
What is the brand and where can i buy this machine..plss thanks in advance.
Did you have to use the voltage adapter , since it’s from Japan?
MY WHOLE LIFE I DIDNT KNOW THAT IS AUNTIE ESTHER
My anemia is causing me to watch these. I need one of these asap
I have it too I eat crushed ice everyday
It ain't the machine. It's the ice.
I have the first cheap one (snowflake) and find that not pushing down hard on the crank makes the snow fluffy.
Build quality is crap though, kinda suprised it's still holds up about 6 months.
My brother was watching vines and there was one that said worth it and she said "this one is definitely worth it"
I swear this person is eating ice like it is food
what is the brand of that last machine?
Halo Halo or Patbingsu!!! OH THE GLORIOUS GLORIOUS TOPPINGS!!!!
Where can we buy the last
