the greatest Friend VS FRiend fight i ever saw.......... barrera could have took him out but he carried him: cause johny was his friend...... Marco had a big heart for his friend...... he suspended his ruthlessness for the sake huminaty..... for the sake of friendship......FU$%ING BEAUTifu...l...
Its such a joy to watch Barrera. What a fighter. I wish he was more competitive in his fights with Pacquiao but styles make fights I guess. His whole career was incredible, his wins over Hamed, Morales and McKinney were epic and even the fights he lost were incredible and competitive except Pacquiao. What a fighter.
Having all his Fights in Vegas certainly helped he must've been bringing so much money into the place that it paid to keep him Unbeaten but what do I know I've just got a suspicious mind!!!
@8:30 MI Vida Loca… Tapia‘s background story is so fucked up from the shit he has been through as a kid…. The devil was trying to get at tapia since a very young age. Amazing story of tapia. RIP.
They need to make a movie about Tapia. They would actually would have to tone it down, because if they actually did a true bioepic, most people would call BS. He Lived A full life. RIP bro
Listening to the corner in the breaks between rounds, as I've got older, I've realised Tapia had some really strange psychology, like he was insecure and vulnerable but not afraid to show it. Not that it takes anything away from how tough he was, but that's what makes it strange, like he's only the toughest guy on Earth because you told him he is... It's as if he could walk through a nuclear blast totally unharmed because he had someone he trusted saying "you're doing great Johnny".
Orale my Homeboy Johnny Tapia never acted like he was a tough guy thinking that he was the baddest fighter out there! He wasn't a bullie type vato at all! He was a very humble and respectful guy!! But if you tried to bullie and disrespect him "Ponte Truchas Por Que Un Chingaso Putaso" is coming your way!!!!!
HBO Boxing is just diamond. I watch the intros just as much as the fights
By god, HBO knew how to do boxing. We need them back somehow, someway.
That jab by Barrera was something else

Styles make fights???
Nothing to do with style.
Pacquiao was a much superior fighter than Barrera, end of story.
@@Paul-sl9zm You don't know shit about boxing.
shut up paul@@Paul-sl9zm
Hard to understand how Tapia can be fighting like this in 2002 and then die of heart failure in 2012. He fought up until 2011.
Cocaine permanently damages the heart.
Drugs he was a Coke head I'm afraid died of Heart Failure so that could be Coke related but tbh IDK?
Era in grande con las 🍚🍚 más grandes que el cuerpo
It was 10 years later.

They both didn't give it there all, it was friend vs friend fight. More for the public.
Old lion vs young lion

Lots of kids got similar stories in the hood but don't amount to much not their fault tapia went far
Además son primeros y se quieren mucho
Johnny was a fucking beast I love you
A losing beast
I wonder what that makes you@@HilmarSchacht
Having a world championship belt doesn't define your greatness
Lineal + ring world titles
The original championship of the world

Jhonny tapia es un tremendo ser humano y aunque pierdas siempre estará ovacionado
Creo que ya falleció

Why there is TAPIA on the short of barrera?
His mother's maiden name was Tapia. Barrera often had it on the front of his trunks for his fights.
@@James-th7wb Thanks for the information
Did you watch the Fight?
