RV Water is available at Buena Vista Public Works on Gregg Drive in the vicinity of the airport. I've had a couple people tell me the price is $2 for over 100 gallons
Thank you so much for providing such detailed info and videos. This is so helpful for those of us outside of the area.
Thank you for the campground drive through. Much appreciated work!
Great video! Love how you were able to drive into so many individual campsites. Of course you don’t usually have the luxury of a completely empty campground!
I love recording in spring and fall for that reason.
Thank you for your detailed drive throughs of the campgrounds. They are very well done and extremely helpful. Definitely earned a subscription.
Thank you for your time and hard work! I appreciate your efforts greatly!
Thanks for taking the time to comment. All the positive feedback is what keeps us motivated to invest in this project.
Great Job! The camera details add a lot. Thanks.
Great video! Really appreciate the close up of map at end!
I like maps. The forest service added those around BV in the last couple of years but didn’t have them online last time I looked.
Another great video, you guys do such a great job, these videos keep us enthused in between trips to the mountains. We're actually headed to Buena Vista again June 14 and are hoping to hike Mt. Yale but are a little concerned about the snowfall you've had this year. Going to the Taylor Park area during this trip as well.
I remember seeing a post earlier this month from somebody that summited Mt Yale. You should be OK but it might be a good idea to check with the Salida Ranger District about a week in advance to check the latest trail conditions (719-539-3591).
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Love the new format!!! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm always looking for ways to make it better.
NO!! Thank You !!!!!!@@CampgroundRecon

Cottonwood Pass Update - It was just announced that the west (Gunnison County) side of Cottonwood Pass will not open until August 12th, 2019.
I first came to this campground in 1989. Love it except the hand pump water contains a high consentration of iron. It will ruin water containers, so thanks for the info on where to get drinking water. Great campground review.
Thanks!
Have you done North Fork CG in San Isabel NF?
I enjoy the videos, but your new camera doesn't do video very well. The picture clears up when you stop moving.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I thought it was just my slow internet connection. Hopefully my new video editing software can clear it up on future videos.
