    I just got mine in Mongolia, second-hand though and ridden hard but still happy. Previous owner ordered directly from the factory and self-imported in April 2021. Not tricky since we neighbour China. It's a blast and I believe all the "first look videos" are right on the money. I've never given a previous bike a name but I call this one "Wǒ ài nǐ". A big kudos to anybody who knows what that means.

      Nicots got 2 similar bikes woth 4 gears and a clutch. One is 72v nominal 150a controller... the other has the same frame as the time et bike which also has a 72v nominal pack granted its 48ah. But the time et bikes even cheaper and it's 90volts 4 gears and a clutch for like 4k. 👍 this storm bee is built different tho. It's solid

      you make 0 sense of course a crane has more torque what has that got to do with motorcycles in any way?
      *I mentioned the crane as an euphemism to describe something extremely powerful and full of torque but weight as a drawback.*
      Look at your original comment. You said it is the weight of a 250cc but the power of a 125cc then reference a crane has more torque lol.
      *Yes my comment still stand up strong as once again*
      *no matter if is a 125,250,500cc or a crane, heavyweight is still a major problem for motocross*
      *I hope now you understand as I can brake it down for you even further*
      But it has way more power (torque)than any 125cc bike and 250cc bike combined

      *Just having a lot of torque doesn`t really mean anything if that`s the ONLY positive factor about your vehicle*

      It’s not all about power.
      I have a storm bee and my 250cc Ktm is WAY more powerful. Because the storm bee only has one gear it can’t keep up and has no power from 40mph to 70mph it’s gutless. Having said that it’s a brilliant bike.. but at the moment petrol wins for speed

      Good idea. The range is quite a bit more than I need for most of my rides. I only use about 25% of the battery on a 1 hour ride - I'm not fast. So I'd love a lighter battery for short rides if it saved my 20kg or so.

      Not true. I'm 94kg (205lbs) and I've never bottomed out the suspension on jumps. Also the suspension is fully adjustable both front and rear. I haven't needed to do that yet but I could if I needed to.

      @@martinfoster5163 Hi, please tell me a little about what it's like to ride the Storm Bee. In some reviews it's a MX bike, other reviews call it soft like a dual-sport. Is this bike (F version) stiff and powerful enough to clear a table-top or double on a VET MX track without bottoming?

    • @martinfoster5163
      @martinfoster5163 Před 6 měsíci

      It's very comfortable on harsh terrain due to the soft, long travel suspension. I don't do MX style riding with big jumps. I do little jumps and the suspension has never bottomed for me. However, I'm just guessing that the suspension would need to be tuned (or replaced) for MX style big jumps. In my opinion, it's more of a dual sport tuned bike from the factory but could be MX with tuning.@@dr.x4050
