This is Unfortunately situation for the young couple. This situations is more common than we think, specifically where there is only one parent and adoption.
Get that family tree out including auntie uncles and cousins

You are absolutely right MC. It’s important to get that family tree out as you rightly suggested. Thank you for taking the time to comment. 😊

This is complex but not uncommon. Personally I don't think they need to get married just because she is with child. You don’t have to get married to raise a child together nowadays and given the objection from some of the family since the discovery it won't be fair to raise a child under such circumstances. The deed has been done due to no fault of theirs but getting married would only make it worse. They can co-parent a difficult choice since they love each other but the right choice under the circumstances. Two wrongs can't make a right. They are brother and sister so marriage is a no no.

Thank you so much Chidima for your thoughts. I agree with that the situation is complex and that they don’t have to marry but can co-parent the child. And I believe the child, depending on what he is exposed to can have an inspired life. It is dependent on the environment and words the child is brought up believing. Two wrongs definitely do not make a right.
