But if she refuses to do so, then the contract is permanently void and the man is freed from his obligation.

She's a mathematics professor who got together with a couple other professors and actually wrote fake papers to so-called "academic and peer reviewed" journals. The paper she's talking about making the argument was called fat bodybuilding. It's a total parody that was accepted as real scholarly research the whole point of it was to be ridiculous. It was all fake. She's amazing!
