I love your video's boss. You're living the life I'm aiming for in 10-15 years. Saving, learning, and getting exposed to farmers markets in the meantime. Much love, stay cool out there!

@@johntompkins4707 thanks John 🙏 I didn’t do it all at once. I started with one silage tarp to kill the grass and one pick up truck full of compost at a time and free Woodchips. Then went from there. Start small is the best advice I can give! Thanks for the love and support, I really do appreciate it 🙏

Love how detailed your videos are. Tips to be more efficient in the garden are really helpful. Two questions, what/how is chef Katie keeping the string tangled free? Looks like it’s coming out of her back pocket. Also, how difficult is cleanup with the netting for cukes at end of season. Would love to see fall/winter cleanup tips someday.

We buy tomato twine off Amazon. And it comes in this nifty little box that has belt loops. So she has the box secured to her belt. And we just cut the netting down with a machete try to remove as much plant material as possible and take that to the compost. Then the netting gets trashed. But I didn’t like it. I think we’ll use the clipper system moving forward for cucumbers. For fall or winter I’m either cover cropping or tarping.

I use the Qlipr system with the hooks (from neversink like you have) on the cuc's too. Works great. Anything that grows vertically, gets the Qlipr system in my world.

They’re pretty easy to find. I think I bought them from johnnyseeds.com. They should be called tomato clips.
