Hi, dear Steve!
Thanks so much for creating such valuable content.
May I ask what type of immunizations are required for an Sterile Processing Technician position?
Thanks!
It is my pleasure most sincerely. As for the immunizations. Each hospital is different, some require everything under the sun and then times each, and some require the very basics and often allow for waivers. No real answer
Thank you very much for your reply, Steve!
Hello Mr Steve,
Thank you for all information you share with us, i have question please. Ihave a provisional certificate as Sterile processing technician for 2 months now and cant get any job because they always want someone with experience. I dont know what to do , i live in NYC. Thank you so much
OK at what point do they tell you that you need more experience?
@BostonCareerInstitute by phone ,they ask if I already have the 400 hours , when I say no they tell to apply again when I have full certificate
@@khawlagad1755 so you get a response from sending in your resume, they call you knowing that you have a provisional certification and only after speaking with you do they tell you that you need the 400 hours... Am I correct?
@BostonCareerInstitute yes, in my resume I only mention that I have a certificate should I add provisional
@@khawlagad1755 no I think you are not conducting your interview correctly. They can see that you don't have experience in the field, yet, they still call you. Only after speaking with you for a bit they issue their standard cop out answer that you don't have enough experience... Am I correct?
