I find this speech VERY inappropriate. The focus should have been on these young people's accomplishment, not telling women what HE thinks they will find fulfilling. No one cares what HE thinks they should do, which is throw away everything for which they have worked. They care about an acknowledgment of their hard work, and encouragement in their future endeavors in the work force. This was covert misogyny of the worst kind.
He's self-centered. narcissist. Ppl like him shouldn't be having kids. His words were abusive to young women everywhere. Child protection should take these kinds of men's kids from them.
Ladies be careful my father was in college when my mother was pregnant and when she wanted to go to school he said he can't afford it. He convince her that he will provide for her and he left her in the end with me and my sister to suffer. Im proud of theses Ladies because im not smart like them 😅 but don't make them belittled your hard work you should be celebrated🍾.

Agreed, I believe it's an agenda their trying to push to try to get the young girls to fall in line and do what they want. The Bible says that God gives gifts to those who love Him. Among those gifts one of them is marriage but another is celibacy. Some of the greatest women missionaries never got married. Getting married and having kids is a good thing, but it's not God's calling for everyone. We are all made in the image of God and placed on this earth to declare his glory. As a single woman, my life began when I accepted Jesus. He is greater than any man I could marry. God bless everyone!😊

@@roxyortiz8819 I am aware of that🙂 However, the Sisters at St Benedict responded and in their statement made clear the purpose of their college, and that being a wife/mother was not the total sum of their female graduate endeavours/achievements. Their statement nicely put this man in his place.
